Dimitri's Restaurant & Carry Out — Restaurant in Baltimore

First poor service: Bought what I was insistently informed was a polish sausage dog...burnt outer, texture and taste was of a swishy chicken dog. No thank you. I know the difference.

Most recent poor experience: Called in lunch order for a large salad, was given 1 container ( less than 3 tablespoons) of dressing. Had to pay extra for enough for salad purchased. Informed the owner of facility if small dressing volume for the purchased item...2 others had to come back and pay for another dressing cup for the salads they had just purchased. Customer Infront informed the staff of the incorrect content of her sandwich and was informed it was done correctly and she was incorrect, but they remade the sandwich. The customer had just complimented the service before this happened. I believe as the face of a company your customer service skill should invite a return with a simple "hello" and "thank you", this did not occur with any customer while I was in line...including myself. I went back to the office to find I had no utensils nor the usual side for the order...I work hard for the funds used to purchase these meals and have decided if there is no positive customer service and fair servings I will spend my money where I am appreciated. Hey. Family. I visited Dimitri's Restaurant & Carry Out on 01/29/24 & I ordered a Vegan Sub or hoagie we call them from the North. I ordered extra onions and American cheese specify and I thought the site would deliver on their word. However, my sandwich had 'orange cheese' and not American cheese. According to the the spoke person when I called Dimitri's to alert them of my difficulty of eating orange cheese. "That is American cheese". For some reason; a site which has a so-called good reviews, doesn't know what American cheese looks like. I got away from the site before looking at it and thought I was too far away to bring it back. They will not get my business anymore! Also, the public should know that this place uses non-traditional cheese as American cheese. I believe they should let the public know that they serve non-traditional cheese as American cheese. I searched on the internet and American cheese is still creamy...

Horrible experience! A total waste of money! I ordered a turkey breast sandwich. They put fried onions on it. Disgusting! Took the sandwich back. Gave the same sandwich back to me. They added raw onions on top of the fried onions. Had a side salad, the tomatoes were mushy and the salad was very old. New lettuce on top, old lettuce in the middle & throughout. Shrimp salad was old and rate horrible. NEVER will I ever return. POOR QUALITY OF FOOD!! Not worth the stop! My first and last visit. Why are they still in business? People just aren't paying attention to their food. They can't be! Or, they don't know what good quality food taste like. My co-workers advised me too late,to not to eat here.

It is now 10:00 at night. I am sick! I've been sick since about 3:30 this afternoon. I had nothing else to eat after this. Been in the bathroom all evening, now night. What a terrifying experience....
