Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Baltimore

For some reason the drivers at this store don’t like coming to your door and knocking-like every other delivery place in the area does as standard procedure. They will call you, rudely demand or order you to come to the door, then walk up to your door once you’re there.

There is about a 50/50 chance of getting your pizza with the cheese intact. Sometimes it will be fine, and sometimes someone will have held the pizza tipped so the cheese slides mostly off to one side. There also is about the same chance of having the pizza cut properly, slices are not cut all the way through, not cut at all, and most often all different sizes. It’s hard to fairly divide pizza among several people when the slices are all different sizes.

If you like your soda room temperature, overpriced, and shaken go ahead and order some from here.

If there is a problem with your order, like the cheese being off to one side, or they made it wrong, when you call whoever answers (after many rings) will claim to be the manager and will not be interested in trying to make the problem right. The person on the phone will be very good at telling you they are the manager, that they are right and you are the wrong-no matter what the problem is, and they are the manager. It’s interesting that the manager is always the person who answers the phone whenever you call.

If you pay by credit card and don’t fill in the tip field on the receipt, don’t be surprised when the amount charged to your card is different from the receipt. They will fill in an amount for you, and claim that’s what you wrote-even when it’s written in someone else’s handwriting, completely different from yours. After the store refuses to give you a refund for the amount you didn’t authorize it will take calling your bank/card company to get the charge disputed. This has happened to two other people I know by this same store. We ALWAYS pay cash now, and the tip is held separate from the payment until the order is checked, and any problems come out of the tip. Make sure to tell the driver why there is less tip, then some changes might get made to improve the service/quality from here.

Overall Papa Johns is good pizza for a good price, this store is NOT up to the same quality level of other stores or what a Papa John’s store should be.

I ordered and my order was passed to doordash with no accommodation for my cash payment even after calling and making sure that I would be able to pay in cash with doordash since I needed change. The order came and not only could my cash payment not be handled my order was wrong. I called the store and the manager didn't acknowledge how the ball was dropped on my order just had an attitude about doordash not having change. I called and spoke to her as soon as I saw they were passing my order to doordash because they don't typically deal with cash. The store manager was rude and not friendly to the customer even though I went out of my way to make sure my order would go smoothly. I don't plan on ordering from this location ever again. Apparently customers aren't important in this locations business model. All of this and I got no food and ended up canceling my order. These businesses won't learn until they go out of business...

I never even got my food delivered. I called the day before to make sure that I can't use my credit card even though I am out of state. I was told that I could then when the time came for me to place my order I was told something different. Had I known that I would have ordered from another place but it was too late at that point sorry I just could not surprise my parents with the dinner. The manager was rude and uncooperative and would not own up to the fact that his employees told me something that was wrong. When I go back home I will go there in person to let them know what they have caused and I will not order from them I will not support their business in any way shape or form I will go to the Papa Johns on Falls Road. Netfile conversation left a bad taste in my mouth so I do not want to taste their food horrible customer service horrible...
