This location had a great start. But it has gone from great to good to ok to whoa in the last few months. I realize there is a driver shortage, but at this point things are just laughable. Customer service does not exist. I use the app to order which had been great so I did not feel like I needed to worry. Starting about 4 or 5 months ago things started to get strange. The app would say that so-and-so was on the way with a pizza, but time would just pass without anything. So I called, waited on hold, was asked to wait more by a person, and then told that my order had not gone through. Ok. I get it - apps are not always reliable. I was told that my pizza was being made again and would be delivered in 30 mins. Time passes, no pizza. After 45 minutes I called back (waited on hold, blah blah blah) and was told there was no order with my name. Huh. Ok. Was told that they would fix everything and make the order free BUT the delivery time would be an hour at least. I don't live far so I said that I would just come pick it up. Free pizza is free pizza. I get to the store and the person at the counter looks for my pizza but I can tell there is a problem. She asks another worker about my pizza and it's clear that it has still not been made. But she just tells me that it is coming out of the oven. I sit and wait while the phone rings off the hook not being answered though there seems to be one person dedicated to taking orders on the phone. People come in to place an order, sit down to wait, 15 minutes later are told they don't have that right now. FINALLY after about 25 minutes (again - free pizza) my name is called. I am handed 6 pizza boxes. I only ordered 3. Three very hot pizzas, and three cold pizzas - the pizza I had ordered at the very start of this comedy of errors.
I think the pizza tastes great. But they need new management and some serious recruitment efforts. With so many other choices there is no reason to subject yourself to this level...
Read moreI placed my order and drove to the store and saw the employees goofing off and when I inquired about my order, they said it was just being made. Wanted another 20 mins and when my parmesan bites came out of the oven, the 2 employees were too busy goofing off to see my parmesan bites were rolling out of the oven, so they fell off of the rack and the male employee who made them proceeded to put them back on the box. I told him I didn't want them after they fell and they said I had to wait for another order. Upon then I told them my frustration about already waiting forever for my food and i couldn't wait. She only offered to refund me for my parm bites but I had already redeemed points for them. I asked if she was the manager and she said yes, so i asked her what she was going to do to compensate me via a coupon or something and she told me she can't do anything. I asked for her name to contact the general manager and she told me she didn't have to give me her name. But I already have her name because she made my pizza. Melanie made my pizza on the tracker. She was the only female employee working and the female who made my pizza was named Melanie. Oh and to make matters even worse, while waiting for my pizza to be cooked, I requested to the male employee to use the bathrooms labeled as PUBLIC and he told me to hold on. He proceeds to ask Melanie if i can use the PUBLIC bathroom and she said no she was not giving me the code because they werent for customers. This is an outright blatant lie. They are labeled as PUBLIC. This is extremely unprofessional and unethical of you to have your store ran this way and your customers treated this way. I both emailed and texted dominos on October 4th when the incident happened and here it is the 8th and have yet...
Read moreEvery worker at the Dominos Pizza at Falls Road and 41st street is very friendly. I frequent this store often, and I can’t remember a time when I walked in and SOMEONE, even if it was a delivery driver heading out the door did not say hello! Kindness and customer service matter a lot to me, so the gesture is appreciated.
Yesterday I placed an online order. Shortly after I sent it in, I received a phone call telling me they were out of an ingredient for the day, and they wanted to know if I wanted a substitution or to cancel the order. First of all, it’s not often I hear the establishment suggest a refund! In my experience, a refund request is usually at the behest of the customer! Hearing that automatically made me want to find something else I wanted, and not ask for a refund. However, my new order was $2 less than my original. When I got to the store, the manager without hesitation, put a credit on my account to be used next time, to make up for the outage. Which was fine for me, because I’ll be back next week! 😂
The quality of pizza does change however. A lot of times it’s perfectly fine, but sometimes it’s of a bit lower quality. But that’s everywhere you go, everyone working is human! Sometimes it’s a 7/10, but MOST times, 9/10!
I choose this location over others also near my house, because I know I will be treated kindly and my pizza will...
