EAT Eggrolls and Tacos in Locust Point offers a fun, laid-back spot to catch a game and grab some food, though it didn’t quite have the welcoming vibe I was hoping for. I went with a friend last Sunday to watch the second half of a game, and while the atmosphere was lively and sports-filled, the overall feeling was a bit more neutral than friendly. The space is bright and colorful, and while it’s small, it’s roomier than it looks from the outside. Nestled in a neighborhood, it seems like it doesn’t get too loud, even during game time.
We grabbed bar seats and got service pretty quickly, which was nice. Both of us ordered different flavored margaritas, but neither tasted much like the flavors we chose. That said, they weren’t bad drinks, just not what we expected. The Sunday bar menu was smaller than I assume the full menu is, but there were still enough choices to find something appealing.
I opted for the carnitas nacho and, although the meat was salty, they were tasty. My friend had the Pollo Asada Caesar Salad, and judging by how quiet they got once it arrived, it must have been just as good. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to figure it out. Read moreThe staff is very friendly and attentive but the food is underwhelming. You’re paying a premium for what tastes like low-quality bar food. I will say that the concept is a great one but the portions are small for the price--six tacos and four egg rolls for almost $70 is eye-popping.
The eggrolls and tacos aren't better than other options in town serving either as stand alone items. As a happy hour, this place may be a better option but the regular priced menu is disappointing for the quality of food you're getting.

All of the food was amazing and I think the Asian, Mexican, American fusion works providing plenty of unique options. EAT definitely capitalized on this in there menu. Even though the menu is small there is plenty of variety and specials to always have something new.
The margarita was good. Can’t wait to see what their drink menu is when it gets released.
Only suggestion is the increase the portions of rice with the tacos. 1 order of tacos is almost...
