Huck's American Craft — Restaurant in Baltimore

Don't expect the same service if you're not a regular. Upon walking in to the restaurant, the server was eating at the end of the bar and talking with a few patrons. I walked down to her and she stared at me and finally asked if I wanted to be seated. She didn't wash her hands after eating her breakfast. Other patrons (you could tell they were regulars, came in) she sat them at the bar and began socializing with them. Finally she came back and asked what I wanted. I asked her about an item on the menu and she replied 'no we don't have that, just what's on the menu'. Her demeanor was very off-putting as if I was bothering her by being there. Food was pretty good! I really loved the short rib tacos and the Brussels sprouts are soool good. The person who was running food and taking our orders was awesome but whoever was bartending last night was not. She barely came to our table, had no idea who ordered what so when it came time for the checks, I had to sit there and write it out for her (even though I mentioned multiple times who was on what), and anytime I asked her for anything it seemed like I was inconveniencing her. Not sure if it’s a lack of communication between the two of them but it really wasn’t that busy and she could have easily taken two minutes to ask who got what instead of just handing me the check and looking dumbfounded when I said it wasn’t all on one. Late afternoon lunch for non locals this is not your place. Sat down at the bar and was immediately told to move down from the bartender so another guest could sit down. After 5 plus minutes we were given menus, then we told the bartender we had about 35-45 mins until we had to be at an event. She took our order wrote down our drinks on a ticket and proceeded to do nothing. Both bartenders proceeded to clean glasses and took a shot with the customers next to us. 25 minutes went by and still no drinks or attention from either of the 2 bar tenders.
