Despite not giving the typical coffee place look (the logo is v cutesy v mindful…) the espresso is some of the best period. I’m too used to going into a coffee place that “looks” the part and getting a watery excuse of a coffee in return. The baristas are incredibly knowledgeable and nice! (They actually know how to make a Cappuccino! And cortados!!!!) The menu has a whole load of options between food (could be better but the pastries are v good) teas and espresso drinks with a whole wall of syrups so if you have a sweet tooth, you’re bound to find a new flavor to try. Another incredible detail is..the..lids!!! Having to grab a couple of drinks and driving in a rush, the lids have saved me over and over again from spillage, both hot and cold! Something so small and overlooked by many other cafes is where Order and Chaos excels. All the care and attention put into this cafe makes this one of the best in Baltimore!
The little notes on the lids are very very thoughtful and cool! Look forward to seeing what the...
Read moreAs much as I love Zeke's as a Baltimore coffee drinker, the coffee here is probably among the best I've had. The baristas are incredibly well educated with regard to the product they sell and the difference between the brewing methods available. They offer vegan options for milk including soy and more up-and-coming options including but not limited to macadamia and oat (barista edition, not what you can buy in the stores). They are also one of the few coffee shops to offer Bulletproof coffee for those on a ketogenic diet or others looking to get their fix of MCT oil. The coffee is incredibly smooth and always served in close proximity to the roast date. As far as coffee goes, this small shop with healthy/trending option, well established character, and notably consistent branding (thanks to the advertising company that built the shop), has some of the best...
Read moreThe space is beautiful, staff was fairly friendly and the coffee was good. I ordered a shot of espresso and a pourover of a Burundi that they had from mudhouse coffee. My actual order and experience there were fine, coffee was very nice. The burundi I ordered had tasting notes of red wine and cranberry, espresso shot was reminiscent of peanut butter and fudge. However, my only complaint was the staff. They were friendly, and made me delicious coffee, but were somewhat unprofessional. They loudly complained about their manager, and seemed slightly un educated about specialty coffee in general. However these were just small problems, and my overall experience at order and chaos was good nonetheless. If you are in the area, it's worth checking them out. They have waffles and pastries that I didn't get the chance to try, but they...
