Read moreWent once will never return. On my first time visiting the pure raw juice Towson location, I asked the hostess to recommended a bowl. Her recommendation included the ingredient bee pollen. I was unfamiliar with the product and inquired about it telling her is it something that may cause allergies. She said that it was basically dried honey. When I got my bowl I tasted one of the pollen pieces and immediately had a reaction. I took the bowl back within minutes and asked if I could get a replacement without the bee pollen. She called her manager who after being on the phone with her for several minutes said that he would give me another bowl if I paid half price for it. Each bowl is $10. That would be $15 for a bowl. He said that if had walked out and dropped the bowl or didn't like it it would be unfair to give me another and that they can't just give away free food. I indicated that those scenarios had nothing to do with the fact that I had an allergic reaction. He said it's not his fault and how would he know what I'm allergic too. I have never before been to a food establishment that refused to rightfully Address a customers needs. I will never give them my...
Read moreMy husband picked me up after surgery and asked what I wanted for dinner. I hadn’t eaten in nearly 24 hours due to anesthesia; I was in a lot of pain and also extremely nauseous. All I wanted a smoothie but it seemed like a far stretch — it was pretty late and we’re from out of state. We found Pure Raw Juice on Google and went for it. Finding parking was tough. We circled the same few blocks several times but it was worth it. We got a Tropical Smoothie and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie (which wasn’t even on the menu). I’ll be honest in saying the banana in the Tropical wasn’t chopped all the way which made it harder to drink through the straw. The smoothies were amazing though. They helped soothe my throat after having tubes removed and put some much needed nutrients back in my body. There’s some cool vibes in that little juice bar too. We’ll be visiting Baltimore again in a few weeks and will be stopping here...
