PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU GO! Would not recommend. The place was not only dry- but unsanitary. The emptiness I can understand because a lot of things were happening this weekend because of cinco de Mayo and the DJ was pretty good (90s-2000s themed). So no negative points for that. However, the bathroom, floors, and bar was extremely gross. This entire place felt like a health code violation. Maybe they usually get away with this if the place is packed. But the emptiness, let me pay attention to the smells, stickiness, and bugs. Here’s a picture of the bug I saw in my drink- just chillin.. I got up so fast. The bathrooms are no better. Absolutely disgusting. And I even considered their food because the prices were so nice and options looked cool, I figured maybe I’d come back at a later date. Heck no. I don’t want flies with my fries. No thanks! Ps. Drinks are expensive for you to be sippin on insects. There were literally bugs on the curaƧao bottles.

We went for a Special event, Silent Party with a Ugly Christmas Sweater Theme hosted by Mahogany Brown. They had $5 Sangria Drinks, We had an Amazing Time. We won the door prize raffle of $52. It was a great night.

I'm giving this place one star specifically for service. The venue nice, staff.. mostly nice, drinks are reasonable, food smells good but haven't had it. My issue is with management or whomever is incharge. A friend planned to have a birthday celebration here and was offered the option to purchase a couch for the night for 50$. Seems like a great idea considering we had quite a few people with us. We arrive, see the couch and reserved table... all is good and well until a staff member asks THREE times after us politely declining - about whether or not we are going to buy a bottle... bottle costs 200$, no- not buying a bottle. However this staff member proceeds to insist that we have to purchase a bottle in order to keep our couch? Where was the heads up or notice about this prior to us coming? Why did the staff member think it was appropriate to be so insistent on us buying a bottle? Then I went to buy a drink at the bar. Ordered a tequila sunrise.. got my drink and paid. My friend proceeds to purchase a tequila sunrise from another tender at the same bar and gets offered the choice of any tequila.. she gets offered fruit... and she gets offered a taste test of the tequila. Some one must have gone wrong when training the staff memeber that served me... all in all.. go at...

Honestly, I just did not appreciate being scammed. You can’t even patronize black businesses anymore. You pay with cash and they charge you credit card fees and you tell the manager and the manager tries to pretend like you’re crazy and even when you legitimately pay in cash a second time they just try it again to see what happens, I guess that’s my fault but at the same time like dude… But I mean, I’m just definitely never ever coming back. That’s an easy one for. , I guess that’s my fault but at the same time like dude… But I mean, I’m just definitely never ever coming back. That’s an easy one for me. It’s bad enough that they charge 19% gratuity. I’m like OK well there’s a liquor tax. We all know about that. I imagine a percent gratuity but just to be charging credit card fees for cash purchases and then you mention it and they say you had to pay with credit card even though you know you paid cash, it’s a no-brainer. I just simply will not be back and I will literally make sure...
