My partner and I live around the corner and came to this restaurant based on a recommendation from our landlord. At first, we loved it! The food was delicious and always hit the spot.

BUT THEN, as we became regulars, the woman, who we presumed is the manager, started showing more of her true colors. She changed the rules and obviously didn’t let her new staff member know because she became audibly frustrated with what he was doing while he was trying to seat us. When we chose our seat she made a loud frustrated noise and said to us, the paying customers “NOT THERE!” If we weren’t so hungry, we would’ve left immediately.

Things we ignored: the unhygienic bathroom with toilet paper and paper towels not being stored AT ALL, no soap in the bathroom, the old decor, the food being improperly stored on the ground outside of the bathroom, the inaccessibility into the restaurant (there are stairs!), the poor, awkward treatment we received, and the inflammatory blasting of CNN on the tv in the main dining area.

With all this considered, eat here at your own risk! We’ve never gotten sick (thank God), but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone did due to the poorly stored food. Every time we pass this place I SMH and say “I wish they didn’t have terrible customer service”. Obviously, I haven’t been back and won’t ever be stepping foot back inside this place. No thank you. One thing I will never pay for is poor service. The search for amazing Vietnamese food...

Stop the Presses!!🗞️ The Chicken Broth Pho and Grilled Chicken Banh Mi was INCREDIBLE!!! 😍🥰

It was my first time having Vietnamese pho after watching some YouTubers on Pho. So I started Googling and YES! There was a place right here in Baltimore. Safe street and good area. I walked in and was greeted by a gentleman immediately.

Ok...good start! Water and menu came to the table quickly. I looked and ordered. Praying the food would match the service. Listen...open your ears and your stomach and listen 👂🏽 to Shea baby. That Chicken Broth Pho came out and they had some vegetables with it and Jalapenos (love 😘 that) on a side plate. They had some brown sauce and red sauce table side. I put a little bit of broth on the paddle and tried it. Oh....My...Goodness!

It makes you want to kick your shoes off and wiggle your toes! I'm not even lying! 🫣😁. I grabbed the chopsticks (I had to remember how to hold them from when I was in the US Navy in Japan). It's been a minute 😂. I got to work. Then the Bahn mi came out looking like a beautiful 🤩 date going out to a fancy Theater. Sweet baby! I took one bite and it was tongue gymnastics! Ha ha ha 🤣 You all think I'm playing! Seriously...this is very, very good food.

Aunties and 2 grandmas were in the back getting them pots rocking.

I'm in love with this food and I see why so many love it. Amazing...simply AMAZING!

Thank you Indochine Pho. You have it going on!...

Visited Indochine Vietnamese Restaurant recently and had a pleasant experience. The food was well-prepared with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The Orange Chicken was cooked just right, offering a nice mix of crispiness and tenderness, while the beef chilli with onions had a good depth of flavor. The fried rice was light and flavorful, pairing well with the main dishes.

The crispy fried wings were a highlight—they were well-seasoned and had a satisfying crunch. The broccoli with chicken was another great option, with fresh vegetables and tender chicken making for a wholesome dish.

One of the standout features of Indochine is that it serves Halal food, which is a big plus for those who observe dietary restrictions. The restaurant also offers ample parking space, making it convenient for diners, and is wheelchair accessible, ensuring inclusivity for all guests.

Portion sizes were generous, and everything was served warm and fresh. The service was efficient, ensuring a smooth dining experience. If you’re looking for a place that offers quality Vietnamese-inspired cuisine with good variety, Halal options, and a welcoming environment, Indochine Vietnamese Restaurant is worth a visit. I look forward to trying more of their menu...

Another quaint letter place in Mt. Vernon. They have a small front dining area and a huge dining area in the back which can probably hold 50 people. I got the Pho Bo noodle soup and spring rolls. The spring rolls were huge and stiffed with herbs, noodles and tofu (they also have pork and shrimp. The peanut sauce was mild and perfectly balanced (not too sharp with soy sauce). The noodles soup was good, but the noodles were a bit too al dente' and could have been softer. The hot sauce and plum sauce on the table was excellent! My only complaint was that they only had plastic chop sticks which are extremely slippery and it is hard to grab the noodles. Reusable wooden chop sticks would have been better. Only 3 stars because the waiter brought my food, then I didn't see him again until he brought the bill. He didn't check on me once.
