St Mary's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Baltimore

So i have been coming here for almost 4 years now but recently I’ve been coming here every other night for abt a two months straight ordering the same thing and tonight I come in an order the same thing yet again and i brought it back literally 4 minutes later cause I checked it in the car and the lady who took my order which i had to repeat three times got mad that MY food was incorrect and after repeating it agin she said thats not what you said but ok I went to take it out the bag to show her she slightly raised her voice saying no thats fine don’t take it out just give it here and tell me what you want just tell me what you want so I can make it. Like how are you upset cause you got my food wrong and i never see this lady this was her first time taking my order she was elderly and very dismissive she was rude and one thing i already hate is that they DO NO ACCEPT CALL IN ORDERS you have to physically go there get out your car place the order and wait which is ridiculous. Now the girls attitudes there are usually bad anyway but after this lady I had to come to the conclusion that they don’t deserve my money or business an to make it...

I visited St. Mary's restaurant for the first time 2 weeks ago. HORRIBLE experience!! The bartender was very rude. Not just to me, but also to the new person she was training. The bartender was too busy flirting with men at the bar and was very inattentive to the customers.Initially she informed us drinks were 10.00, however when it was time to pay they were 13.00. When I questioned her about the change, her response was the manager sets the price for the drinks. When myself & another customer reminded her of the previous conversation. Her response was it's only 3.00. The situation got so bad, another customer offered to just pay the difference. I have NEVER been to an established business & have been treated so poorly. I will NEVER support St. Mary's again... However, if you are looking for a better place there is another Jamaican restaurant on Maryland & 21st. The food is very good and there is a lounge connected to it... SAY NO to St....

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I never give businesses bad reviews because usually it’s just not that serious. However for this first time experience here I do feel the need to speak up due to the HOSTILITY of the environment. Ordering food was like I was asking for too much. The attitude started there. I was a bit confused since I’m usually polite. I waited for my food for 30 minutes I patiently waited but then the hostility continued just for asking for my order which I have already paid for. Then my friend orders her food and she gets the exact same combative reaction. She was dismissed and told to go upstairs and order. Where there was a bar and loud party going on. Then I ask for an extra plate so I can split my plate with her and again with the rude reactions. Do they not want our business? This is a toxic environment so I will never go ...
