Visited this location the last time before went to the location in Little Italy today. After how disappointing my experience was there today I remembered that I forgot to leave a review on how amazing my experience was at this location. The staff was extremely kind, the gelato was on display, the Wednesday $4.50 medium gelato special was available to go with to go containers and freezer bags. The staff didn’t forget anything that we ordered and we took longer to order than they took to pack it up to go. All of this, the other location was unable to do. We got the pistachio, almond joy, and holy cannoli flavors here. All of them were good except the holy cannoli had a hint of cinnamon/ red hot candy to it so if you don’t like that it may not be for you. All in all, this location is amazing and will be the ONLY location I will visit...

Hate to rate a restaurant based on bad attitude. Very rude person this morning, she refused to put my $23 worth of pastries in a box instead of three plastic clam shells. “Boxes are only for cookies, do you want a bag?” Really? Been coming to V for decades, never refused a box. This location has always been a problem for me. No receipt of course - help yourself to the cash. I was so mad I headed down to Vaccaro’s in Little Italy where I asked for the manager and staff so very nice, they put my pastries in a box. I was offered a coffee but just too frazzled for that. Who was it? Didn’t ask for her name but only one person working this Sunday morning - 9/15/19. Thank you, hope...

I have been sick for a few days with diarrhea, stomach pain and swelling, intermittent fever, nausea, and headache since eating gelato at Vaccaro’s. Every gelato flavor I tried had med-sized ice crystals pebbled throughout, so likely it’s going through many freeze-thaw cycles and no longer resembles gelato. You can see the pebbles through the display glass, so you don’t have to buy it to know. I don’t know how old the gelato I ate was because the cashier was visibly emptying the remaining gelato from one container onto the top of a new container of gelato, doing this for a number of flavors. I wouldn’t go here for gelato but their pastries are good, good...

I bought a quarter pound of Vaccaro's cookies today, because I haven't had any in years. Boy, have they changed... They are small, thin, dry little crusty pieces of sadness! Whatever corners you are cutting, please go back to making your signature shortbread cookies like you used to years ago! These are absolutely terrible and I wouldn't pay the price for them ever again!

Ah, a fat kids paradise. I generally don't do Italian ices or ice cream. Or whatever you actually call Italian ice cream. Gelato is the name. But order the pistachio flavor. It's nutty and delicious. Also, the almond cookie was 5/5 stars. I will have to come back ans try the canoliis as they have "mini" ones which sounds like a reason to pop 3 to 5 in my mouth.

My GF is a wedding cake decorator and pastry chef with high standards. We stopped in and had a chocolate and vanilla napoleon pastry. And agreed that it was one if the best we've had. We will stop by the next time we are in Baltimore.
