Not sure where Nikki's is, but when we went a month ago, it was called Sophia's Place, and Chef Thomas served up some of the most amazing Polish food we've had outside of Poland. One counter person there was grumpy and unhelpful, but chef Thomas and the rest of his crew made up for it by being utterly professional and welcoming. We were delighted with the cabbage rolls, perogy, polish sausage, and soup. Everything was so flavorful, from the cabbage perogy with carmalized onion, to the cabbage rolls covered in tangy tomato sauce. We enjoyed dining in, and even found some grocery items we can't usually buy in most US markets. Under Chef Thomas, Sophia's Place, delivered the Eastern European comfort food we love!

My personal favorite deli in Fells Point. Vikkis is cheap, fast and friendly local food. Their chicken salad club is famous and my go to pick. Nothing against Vikki's, but I'm not impressed with the new redesign and layout of the market. Vikki's is a local favorite and will get VERY busy. Before the renovation Vikki's took up the majority of the market and plenty of seats. Now it's cramped in a small corner... totally doesn't do this place justice as it should be the biggest and most prominent business in the market. Regardless, this is a spot for locals and tourists don't come here much (not saying the shouldn't). If you manage your way to Fells Point and need a cheap and quick bite, head to Vikki's.

Had my truck at ABC radiator a couple blocks away and they said Vikki has the best pancakes around... they was RIGHT! These pancakes was the biggest and best I have ever had! The sausage was so big that it looked like two pieces of scrapple! I walked away with a very happy stomach!! The prices are the best, the staff is the best and Vikki is fantastic! Thanks Vikki for a great place to eat!!

In many respects the work of a critic is simple. We risk very little, but enjoy a position opposite those who offer their work and their self to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism. But, the bitter truth that we critics have to face is that in the great scheme of things the average piece of garbage is probably more sensible than our criticism. There are times when a critic really risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the new. The world is often unfriendly for new talents, new creations. The new needs friends. Yesterday, I experienced something new, an extraordinary food from a uniquely unexpected source. To say that both the meal and their maker have challenged my prejudices about fine cooking is a gross understatement. They have shaken me to my core. In the past, I have made no secret for my contempt for Vicki’s famous motto: "Eat at the V." But I notice, only now I really understand what she means. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere. It is difficult to imagine more modest origins than those of the genius who now cook at Vicki’s, who is no less than the most beautiful cook in Fells. I will return soon to Vicki’s,...

Really good food but on two separate occasions I received horrible service. One day when I went to pay the lady behind the counter I placed the money in her hand and when I reached out for my change she put it on the counter and slid it to me which is very disrespectful. Against my better judgement I went back another day I sat down at 1:12 to a fairly empty counter my order was not taken nor did was I even acknowledged customers who came in after me and had a fairer skin color were greeted order taken and served and still no one bothered to take my order although I was sitting right in front of them. At 1:22pm I left and went to subway for a sandwich. As I said the food is very good but the subpar treatment I will never spend another dime in this racist...

I visited with my best friend the groom and our groom's party a couple of months ago. We were looking to go to breakfast after getting fitted for tuxedos. One of the guys suggested a place called Vikki's. We were razzing him about who is Vikki? I was thinking Vikki is one of his women.

He explained it was a restaurant. I replied " Never heard of it". He assured us it was good food at good prices. He was right!! A few days later I took my wife there she loved it! We went back with friends and we had a blast. Excellent taste, food looks great and the place is clean. The staff is hilarious!! Excellent value for one's money and serious quality . Vikki's has a history rooted in Fells Point and should be a must on things to do...
