Look, I’ve never been to this place, but I love beer. I love it all the way. I have beer mirrors, beer mugs, and even a beer belly.

Among all of the beers I’ve had in my existence, the Higgins Irish Red stands alone as the solitary beer I’ve written a Google Review about. A beacon in the storm, this snappy lass refreshes with uncommon vigour, while landing the intergalactic flight of flavour with the sweet and malty goodness that earns its label as a true Irish Red.

Great local brewery thats been in the family for 50 years. The wings are very good. Ask for the savory sauce (not on the menu), and get a side of “ouch” which is fairly hot. Liz gave us the hook up, she is terrific and highly recommend asking for her in the bar area. Wife had the haddock. Was cooked perfectly and the fish was larger than the bun. We had a collaboration/release party here last night and a great time was had by all. The Geaghans have been great supporters of the homebrew community. This location, the tap room st the brewery often has different and interesting brews not available at the restaurant in Bangor.
