Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Barboursville

The only reason that I'm giving 2 stars is because I love the food. Other than I am NOT happy with the customer service. As I was ordering the man that was taking it just stopped and got off the intercom. I had to press the button again only for the same thing to happen by a female. So I had went ahead to just paid for what they had got. Then when the food had gotten to me, there was 2 meals, 3 drinks, and 4 sides missing. I had asked the man that brought it out to me if they are still working on them. He said that that was my whole order. I had showed him the thing with everything I oder and payed for. Then he tried to make me pay for it all over again. So I sat there for 45 minutes waiting for food and drinks. Never will barboursville sonic get another purchase from me, or any of my people again until something...

If less than one star was possible, I would give it negative 4. Took 58 min to place order, then when food arrived some was cold. Called on Phone and did not answer called corporation and filed complaint. Offered me a free slushy and I declined. Do better! Manager came out after i flagged someone down. Finally took my order after 58 min. Waited 22 more min for cold tots

Update #1: 8/9/21 They want me to contact corporate customer service, (which I did the exact same day sitting during the 58 minute wait!) They were unable to even call the establishment and tell them about the problem! They said i would get a call back and they are the ones that offered to send a slushy coupon. .... I have yet to receive a text or call back from...

I like many of the items on the sonic menu. But, the branch in Barboursville needs a great deal of attention. While sitting in my car, looking in the drive through window, the kitchen looked like a disaster zone. Cups, empty sacks, trash on the counters, floor, etc. One staff member was just standing and eating food with her hands, then immediately started loading food for a customer into a sack, without cleaning her hands. This location is an obvious sanitation hazard. It is too bad, because sonic does have some good ice cream and food. It all starts with good management. And that is apparently lacking at the Barboursville location, or else the staff would not act in this manner. CLEAN...
