Hobby Lobby — Local services in Barboursville

Followed me around the store like I was going to steal something is the only thing I could come up with because I'd already asked an associate for help when I walked in the door because I'd never been to this hobby lobby before so I didn't know where anything was located. Then I noticed Everytime I stopped to look at all the super cute things they always have I'd almost run into this same woman who wasn't the one I'd asked for help but a different employee. Then I stopped to figure out what paint my fiance wanted exactly, so I sent him pics of what they had. The entire time I was getting what all he asked for she stood at the end of my isle with the manager and another associate talking about some guy who I'd seen when I came into the store that was obviously a regular at stealing from there. It was almost time closing time so I ran over to where the original associate told me the stuffing was and again almost ran into that same lady. I think she asked me 4-6 times if I needed help with anything! I literally wanted to return every bit of the lil over $100 I spent that day, but my fiance had already opened and used some of the paint. I did take back a couple things that I actually really wanted to keep and it's a damn shame that they feel the need to harass regular customers like this. I now only go there if I absolutely HAVE too otherwise I'm at Michaels!! They have never treated me...

Thanks to hobby lobby every other week they offer 50/ off on some artist canvases so a local artist can save on supplies while shopping for there needs

8/11/2024 Well had to call get prices and found a real nice worker to give me great details about product of choice 4 foot by 4 foot but wasn't sure they had them on stock. She graciously kind and enough to say she needed to order some the one on stock was damaged . What a blessing

This was a great day but mostly a final call to say just shows going above your call of duty is the way to keep customers coming back

Thers so much stuff, from the floor to the ceiling literally. Theres hay, and crates touching the ceiling right now! Just about anything your looking for. Theres sections for Drawing, Painting, Candles, Toys, Fabrics, Flowers, Seasonal merch like Halloween or Christmas merch, wall arts, etc. They even had Bob Ross toasters. There was locally made candles which I grabbed the Fudge Brownie and it legit makes the room smell of fresh brownies. The staff are always busy moving, the cashiers usually welcome me on the way in.
