Waffle House — Restaurant in Barboursville

Many things were wrong about this visit. Waiter was new so we figured we would have an issue. First he brings my friend a sandwich that he clearly stated no cheese, waiter clarifies no cheese. Then I ordered hashbrowns with chili cheese and jalapenos and a side order of toast. I got no chili on my hash, then instead of my toast he gave me a waffle. I didnt complain about the lack of chili I just figured that mistakes happen but I asked for my toast and he leaves the waffle as an apology (or so we thought) we finish our meal (while my buddy got 4 cups of coffee I sat with an empty water) we got the bill and took it to the front to pay and we were charged for the waffle, didnt take the chili off the bill, charged 2$ for 1 piece of bread that wasnt toasted then charged 3.50 for a plate if lettuce, it was supposed to be a salad as an (I'm sorry about the cheese on the sandwich) peace offering. No they ended up charging us 3.50 for lettuce, no tomatoes onions cheese or croutons just a plate of plain lettuce. Horribly disappointed, not one to complain but I have been to this new location 3 times and still haven't had a correct meal let alone bill. BE VERY CAREFUL especially when they "offer" you and when you look at your bill. I kept saying that certain items didnt belong but they didnt listen just kept charging us. Highly...

Food was great props to the male night shift cook there. As for the female red headed cook. Not so much very poor customer service skills her work ethics was terrible she wanted to talk about how her cooking was good and it was gucci so she said she also claimed after waiting 15 mins to have my order taken that the servers technically dont have to take my to-go order and there was only one table in there to whom i may add said they waited 30 mins to be waited on for a great location some of the employees have terrible attitudes towards the customers. This place use to be hopping on a fri sat night now your lucky to see two tables eating there on a weekend bc of some of the employees attitudes. Came in to have lunch waited ten minutes to be acknowledged. Sever finally came to the table to take my order. Order was placed, and in really quickly. The order was finally finished. The cook was looking around for the sever to run food to the table nowhere to be found. Cook finally brought food to the table instead and took better care of me than my severe ever did cook even got my refill on drinks for me. When it came to leave, guess what, no sever to found once again cook wrote up ticket for me and instead of me leaving tip on table I gave it to the cook instead.
