I was in axes when a situation went down where a women in her mid 40s with a huge group of kids was trying to get their party room spot. Also a group of teenage girls who looked interested in the same party room were standing right beside it. I love coming here and I know that if you rent the party room you have to go to the paint room, escape room, or the rage room before you’re allowed to eat. I noticed that the women in her mid 40s sat the children down in their party room and began to eat before doing their assigned room. Then all of a sudden an employee looking about 18 or 19 told the group to follow her to their room. The woman stood up and yelled at the young female employee. I noticed that although the woman who yelled could have been an unexpected and scary experience for the young employee she handled it like a champ instead. She was very kind and kept her cool along with the business’s policy, so well done to her. We need more employee’s like her to deal with the rudeness that some customers have because being yelled at is never fun. Wish I could say the same for the man working the front desk. He wasn’t terrible but he could’ve stuck with the business’s policy. Overall the employees are fantastic and I had an amazing time throwing axes with my friends. I love this establishment and I strongly recommend to anyone looking for a great time. Even when there are rude...
Read moreOverall, just an "ok" experience. We waited at a table for about 25 minutes past our start time, at which point a flustered girl approached and informed us that they had double booked the room. States the double booking was due to someone not knowing what they were doing. She asked us if we wanted to do another room or come back at a different time. I expressed to her that my party would not be able to come back at a different time, and we specifically booked this room. She spoke with the other group who was double booked, who eventually ended up leaving.
We got to the room about 35 minutes after the scheduled start time. The room itself was again "ok". Two of the needed keys were miss placed, both of which being left directly on the tables, making the clues weird and out of order. The speakers and mics with the cameras were also apparently having issues, causing the lady to open the door to our room on 3 occasions during the game to "tell us things". At some point the speakers began to work again, at which point the screen with the timer crashed.
The idea of the room was fine, just poor planning and execution. We were told upon leaving that apparently one of there employees had quit earlier that day. That's not something the customer needs to know, or...
Read moreThe visit was alright, i wont be back though. It was more of a one time fun. Definetly not worth 26$, 12$ at max. The layout of the place was awful and felt more H&R Block than an Axe throwing. I went in expecting Texas Roadhouse kind of vibes. They had country music playing from a small speaker in the corner but everything else was plain drywall, tile, popup tables beside 4 wood cubicles for the axe throwing. The targets also look as if they were never replaced, the bullseyes looked disintegrated and barely red. The staff was friendly and welcoming though, could tell they loved their jobs. I just wish some creativity went into designing it and it felt countryish and not like doing taxes. I will return someday to update this but i...
