Delicious, incredible food, friendly staff, & amazing coffee! Such an incredible treasure and so glad we stopped here instead of where we had originally planned on going. My husband and I decided to stop here on a whim when the restaurant we planned on going to was unexpectedly closed & we are so glad! We are planning on going back again soon. The food was incredible & we only wish we had more stomachs! He had the Croque Monsieur and I had bacon croissant. We also had raspberry filled beignets and puff pastries. I haven't had such amazing pastries since I was in France! The pastries were crispy, flaky, fresh, buttery... Perfection. The staff was so friendly. There was a lovely young woman (Alex!) who was very helpful and patient. I assume the owner was the French gentleman who helped us? He was also very kind and patient when we were trying to decide and then raving about how amazing everything was. Anyway, we can't wait to go back and are already talking about what we want to get. Also, they have real imported chocolate for retail! Which is such a treat. I only wish I had gotten more...

30seconds later I am at the cashier ready to pay for my order :
Right behind this young lady I could see the kitchen/cook line where another employee with short hairs was preparing a “new cooking session” using an INDUSTRIAL TRAY OF FROZEN pain au chocolats/chocolate croissant. (Probably brioche dorée stuff imported from France…). It’s ok to do so, even in Europe a lot of professionals now are using frozen products BUT Please DO NOT LIE to customers!!! it’s the worst thing to do. In the end, it was way too expensive for...
Read moreWondered into this unassuming little cafe post lunch in hyannis. I ordered a cortado which originated in Basque country. It is a double espresso with an equal portion of steamed milk. It was exceptional. The owner told me the beans come from Papa new guinea. And the owner is an exceptional barista. It was some of the most delicious coffee I have consumed in a long time. I took the time to sit and enjoy it in a pottery cup along with some delightful pastry. The flavor had depth and complexity and the steamed milk added a touch of softness. Apparently, according to the owner, the beans come from a roaster in wareham. I live in Europe and have tasted coffee in a lot of different locations. Do yourself a favor and grab a cortado at Chez antoine. You will enjoy an extraordinary flavor experience. Be sure and ask for...
