Some might think winter isn’t the best time to visit Cape Cod, but I’d say otherwise. No traffic. No crowds. Just you and the beauty of the Cape, all to yourself. Sounds pretty sweet, right? We spent the day driving around, taking in the sights, and by evening, we were on the hunt for a great place to eat. After a quick search, Ninja House had not only a high ratings, but also an impressive number of reviews to back it up. That was enough to convince us to give it a try. And I’m so glad we did! I’d wholeheartedly agree with the majority - this place is a gem. The Japanese cuisine is top-notch, prepared by an authentic chef who clearly knows their craft. Our server, Ashly, was warm and welcoming, happy to chat and help with recommendations. Great service always makes a difference, and she definitely added to the experience. We ordered some sashimi (trying to cut back on starch 😄) and orange-flavored beef. A bit of an unusual combo, but trust me, it worked! The sashimi was incredibly fresh, melting in the mouth, while the beef had that perfect balance of crispy outside and tender inside, packed with flavor. If I lived closer, I’d be a regular here for sure. And not just because the service and food was great, but also the final bill was very palatable ;) Thus, if you're ever in the area, I highly recommend checking it...
Read moreThe Ninja House’s food was a 3 out of 5, and the service was a 2 out of 5. I got two sushi rolls. The main issue with the service was that they were horribly understaffed. They only had one server, a white girl who obviously didn’t want to be there and wasn’t doing anything. And then there was a Japanese manager who was running around literally doing everything in the front of the house. And they were busy! So it was chaos in there. Luckily for me the manager took my order so I had a small resemblance of service. The rolls could have been a 4 out of 5, but they died in the window waiting to be delivered to me. I don’t do raw sushi anymore so it was still edible, just not in a prime condition. If it wouldn’t have been so late and them so busy, I would have had them remake my rolls. But I just wanted to go back to the hotel and eat. I would go back, but if I walked in and it was busy, then I would leave and...
Read moreHonestly they have light no heat! The had one space heater but it was freezing. A server placed us at a freshly cleared table. The previous guest accidentally left him wallet and we had seen where he was sitting. The server had tucked it on the side on the seat and pretended to not know where it was. The server was informed both me and my daughter had an egg allergy and requested no egg in our food! When I got my rice dish it had egg. They did bring me a new one but I really lost interest after this. We tried the restaurant for the second time and it was even worse than the first time. Our server was FaceTiming someone to be told how to make my husband’s drink! We watched her make it the remake it because it was not right and this was before we received even one drink or place a food order. We honestly did not want to trust in...
