Please don’t come here if you ever have an inconvenience happen that wasn’t in your control. I ordered three items and they were pretty heavy. It is commended sense and customary for restaurants to double bag food ESPECIALLY when they are heavy. I grab my food that they didn’t double bag which I didn’t even have an issue with. But as I am walking back to my car, the bag just rips and one of the items spills out. These two couples ran over to help me and get me a bag from another store nearby. And they suggested I go back to this restaurant and ask if they can remake it, because why wouldn’t they. Never have I ever seen a place get so defensive when their customer over something that was out of their control. I go back and explain what happened, and they stare at my blankly because how dare I stand there and think they would remake one of my items for me. Instead one lady and probably her daughter start to come at me saying IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT HOLDING THE BAG FROM THE BOTTOM????? They were so insanely rude and malicious. They kept blaming me. And kept saying it’s not their fault, and I never blamed them. But that made me question why they wouldn’t double bag?? Moral of the story. These are horrible people with no care for customer service. They wanted me to pay full price to make the food again, and they couldn’t be kind enough to understand I already paid for the food and the bag ripping was out of my control....
Read moreAmazing! I’ve only ever got takeout here, but it’s always been super tasty. I always get the spicy Thai eggplant stir-fry with tofu, sometimes the tom yum soup. If you’d like it spicy, though, I would specify. One time I didn’t mention anything, and my dish was a little too mild for me. Other than that minor issue, it’s great! It’s also very clean and has a nice ambiance. My service has always been friendly and efficient. Definitely go!
Edited review: I took two stars away based on a recent experience of actually eating inside the restaurant. Note: they do NOT want people eating there, even though they have dining as well as take-out.
If you go an hour before closing time, be prepared to have your food taken away BEFORE you are finished eating. Then the server will tell you that they are closing and that you’re not even allowed to finish your food. Oh, and they don’t warn you when you order of this policy.
VERY rude to do this to loyal and paying customers! I wasn’t trying to sleep there. I was just trying to finish my meal. It is very bad manners to do this to people, in case you didn’t know. I noticed a couple other reviewers have said the same exact thing, pertaining to the young female server you have working there. She is clearly very annoyed to have to wait on anyone—near closing time or not. You should get rid of this server, because she is damaging your...
Read moreTaste of Siam really surprised me. Thai food in a small coastal town in Massachusetts? My expectations were quite low, especially having lived in Los Angeles, Chicago, DC, and currently Boston. To my surprise, the menu was a mix of classic Thai dishes and some creative twists that sounded delicious and the food was fresh and tasty! We got pad see ew, basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, red curry, and snow peas. Every plate was returned empty! This restaurant is way above average, even when compared to Thai restaurants in the city. I would definitely come back!
Service was attentive, knowledgable, and patient. Food came out reasonably quickly. Atmosphere was the only part of the experience that was lacking. The wall A/C unit made the restaurant bearable, but not comfortable (it was 84 degrees outside) and there wasn’t any decor or notable features in the restaurant. The placemats were a nice, but not necessarily fitting. They looked like what you’d see in a floral daily planner sold on Etsy. There was no background music either, which is an easy way to elevate the look experience. No complaints, but atmosphere would be the easiest way to elevate the experience with...
