UPDATE: August 19 2019: gave the place another try as I was informed by someone else that the ignorant bartender was a former GM no longer with Flashbacks. Redeemed! Great service and loved the bison burger! Glad to see this place thriving! Hopefully you guys can get Tron in for a game one of these days!
PREVIOUSLY in 2019: a weeks ago was a great experience with dinner drinks and service being great. This time out on a Sunday night I thought I'd stop in since they weren't busy, sit at the bar andand or drink and an appetizer. The bartender ignores me, goes to the back kitchen, hangs out for a few minutes comes back and ignores me again and proceeds to play with the TV, goes back to the back again and then when I try to get his attention a third time when he came out he was chatting with the other staff and ignored me. Walked out. Come on guys, not like it was that busy.... The place is a great concept, good food and I really want to see it succeed but this was kind of ridiculous, hence...
Read moreBeware the mushroom. It was a crisp March afternoon when I went on Doordash and ordered some burgers piled high with sautéed mushrooms from this place. I didn't think much of it until I get a call from a strange number. "we're out of mushrooms, would you like a substitution?" Devastated, I resigned myself to having to reorder from one of the many other burgers places in town that has mushrooms. "please cancel the order," I said. "I can't do that." She said. "That's ok, please just cancel the order." "I'm not Doordash!" she declared "Neither am I!" I responded. A few minutes later she magically discovered how to cancel the order, it processed and I got a refund. After that I ordered from some other place, they forgot the mushrooms, overcooked the burgers into rubber and the fries tasted like they had last been...
Read moreThey have actual arcade games. There were a few pinball machines and some racing games with actual pedals which took me back to the arcades I went to as a kid. I did get a bit of nostalgia here. The only real modern games they had were guitar hero and an interactive Family Guy bowling game. Everything else was straight out of the 80s/90s. Mortal Kombat 3 was great to play a few games on and they also had The Simpsons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and of course Galaga and Pac Man. One full wall of the place was just arcade games. They have a sit down menu and serve drinks. The atmosphere was cool with 80s movie posters everywhere and they had some collectibles hanging around. You have the option of using quarters for the games or purchasing tokens. All of the machines are able to take either. I had a good time here...
