I dined in on a Monday evening. Terribly slow service from wait staff. Menu items are a joke, such as the "cucumber salad", which consists of a handful of thin cucumber sticks, which had been intended for the sushi rolls, and a to-go container of ginger dressing on a plate-- I was shocked (see photo). I also had the miso soup, which was extremely salty and had much more seaweed than necessary that was in too large of pieces to spoon out easily. The sushi rolls are very small in size. In my photo from left to right: sunshine roll, yellowfin tuna roll, and California roll. They do not serve sake, beer, wine, or alcohol of any sort so if you enjoy sake with your sushi, you won't find it here. I do not plan to return to this restaurant, as I was disappointed. The positive reviews for Asian Star fooled me into trying it but it was not worth my time or money, at least from my personal experience.

So we got DoorDash from here which almost definitely accounts for the quality of the food. I’m sure in store is better, but that being said, this food was probably the worst Asian food I’ve had in the greater Memphis area. It was edible, but I would never order it again. The sesame chicken tasted like it had been sitting for days and was soggy. It also had very little chicken to it. The lo mein noodles were overcooked and gummy. The egg rolls were so oily that they weren’t crisp and dripped oil out of them. The fried rice was flavorless and looked almost grey. The beef and broccoli was in a sauce that tasted like syrup and I couldn’t stomach it. I really hesitate to rate so low, but this tastes so bad that even though I am hungry, after tasting everything, I decided eating my own ramen was the better option.

The food was fresh that 1 time! EDIT: I went on Monday and the clerk was very snippy I should have just left, but I was craving egg foo Yung. My ticket was a total 30$. I ordered combination egg foo Yung, egg drop soup qt, and a beef dish. I asked the lady how many crispy bags come with qt of egg drop soup she said 1. She was so irritated when I said only 1 with a qt that's she said something in her language to the cook. I received shrimp only egg foo Yung, but I paid for combination. To top it off they put 2 small patties under a large one. The 1st time I went the food was so fresh this time a true mess. I am done eat here !!!!!

I have ordered delivery from this restaurant twice. I happened to check my bank statement after the second time I ordered and noticed that I had been overcharged by over $8. I then decided to check my first order and noticed that I had been overcharged on that order by over $4. I called the restaurant and was told that this was a "holding" fee until the transactions were no longer pending. This couldn't have been true, because my first order (placed 2 weeks prior) was no longer pending. I waited a couple more days to see if the "holding" fee had been removed. Of course, it had not. I called them once again. This time I was told that the on-line company adds a "service" charge. The amount that of the charge still did not add up to what I was charged on both occasions. The "manager" called me back shortly after I hung up with a THIRD story. This time it was because I had customized my order which caused there to be extra charges. The website offered the ability to customize but did not add further costs to my total. Needless to say, I will NOT be ordering from this crooked establishment anymore; and, if anyone is brave enough to try them, make certain to check...

I ordered delivery via Bite Squad for dinner. I got two sushi rolls (Hurricane Roll, Angel Roll) and General Tso's chicken with fried rice.

While everything was made correctly, and hot and fresh, I'm a little disappointed with the flavor. In that it was lacking.

The General Tso's chicken was nice bite-size pieces, with a decent breading-to-meat ratio, but the sauce itself was lacking flavor. Almost like it was watered down. The fried rice I paid $1 extra for was very bland as well.

The sushi was okay. I expected a little more out of the rolls considering the prices. One of the rolls is tempura-fried, but they didn't fry the roll long enough, so it was very gooey and tasted a little raw. The fillings were tasty, but it would've been better if they just let it fry for like...a minute longer.

The other roll was okay. Nothing special. Both rolls had cream cheese in them, and it was all I could taste. I love cream cheese in sushi, just not so much that it's all you taste.

I was starving by the time I got my food, so I didn't stop to take pictures, but overall, their food is pretty meh. Definitely not the worst or best Chinese...

Being new to the Bartlett Area, I decided to try a new Asian place last night. I used to delivery food for uber eats and I remembered this place being very popular. I thought I’d give it a shot. We spent (tip included) about $52 and some change… We ordered 2 different kinds of sushi. Both were very good. I ordered general Tso’s with a side of fried rice and an egg roll. The ER was small but tasty. The GT was good. The rice got me though. It lacked flavor. It was missing a heavy amount of sesame oil and soy sauce. It was made with very little egg, onion, peas and carrots. My fiancé ordered the steak hibachi dinner. The rice was the same. The steak? That’s what killed the whole thing. I’m a cook. It’s my job. I know steak. Whatever they gave my fiancé was definitely not steak. The fact that I couldn’t identify what kind of meat that was made me nervous. This experience made me heavily regret not sticking to my usual place. The value and the quality...
