Wow! Worst service of my life!! I'm not kidding. I wanted a custom cake for my son's birthday party. I reached out to them through text 4 days ahead of time. They said they could do it. I am asking questions through text about what time should I pick up, etc and I had to text again (the next day) to get a response. They told me I need to call in and pay and gave me a price. I called and paid and what I paid was more then what they said it was going to be. So I text them and they said tax and credit card fee. I was ok with the tax but I did mention that no one informed me of the credit card fee. Shana, the one who I was dealing with to order the cake said it was my card that charged the fee, my bank doesn't charge fees like that and I explained that to her so she said she canceled the order and sorry for the inconvenience. I said I didn't want to cancel the order and I got no response. I texted again and asked if the order was canceled or do I still need to pick it up on Saturday, again no response. My only recourse was to go to the store and find out. I got to the store and asked to speak with the manager. Well, Shana is the manager, talk about professional, she said she already canceled the order and it was her fault she shouldn't have said she would do the order on such short notice and that she canceled it because she doesn't want an unsatisfied customer. Well I never asked for the order to be canceled and I wasn't happy and I got no response, In my opinion that is NOT how you treat a customer and that's NOT how you run a business. Very unprofessional. This was my first time dealing with them and my last!! I strongly advise to stay away and find another bakery that treats their customers right. Read moreMy wife ordered cookies for a baby shower (her first grandchild). The Cookie Jar called us because we were past our pick-up time. We told them we were running late but we’re hurrying there. When we got our order of cookies they were not individually wrapped as pre-ordered and pre-paid.
Once they pulled up the order and realized they had made a mistake I figured it would be “all hands on deck” and everyone would work as a team to fix the mistake since there were no other customers in the bakery and they knew we were already running late before when we walked in the store. No, only 2 of the 3 worked to bag the order of cookies.
I was quite surprised they only apologized. The apology was nice, but when premium dollar is paid, premium service is expected. We didn’t get that. They didn’t even comp the few cookies I got for my kids during the 10 minute wait to bag the order. My wife still loves them;I guess that’s what matters, but as a service-oriented consumer I would have to pass. At that price point you only get one shot.

The pull-apart cake I was given looked like it was done in a hurry and instead of nicely piping out the words “space jam”, the baker just printed it out and charged me $23 JUST FOR THAT. On top of that, the frosting was super sweet and the chocolate cupcakes were a little dry. When I arrived to pick up the cake, which was set to be ready at 5:00, I arrived at 4:40 and was told with attitude that the cake wasn’t ready and that I was told it would be ready at 5:00. When the baker, which was also the owner, handed me the cake, she told me to wait to make sure that I had paid for the cake. When I had told her that it was already paid for, she looked at her sticky note, hesitated, and gave me a look as if I were lying before saying “you’re right, have a good day”.
