Patty's Crumbs — Restaurant in Bartow

Today was our first time visiting Patty's Crumbs bakery and it was lovely. Inviting, spacious and clean shop with such diverse options. My husband is the sweet tooth in the family and I have a gluten sensitivity so we frequent bakeries alot less than he would like. When we do visit a bakery I usually roll the dice and eat something offered hoping I do not have a GI reaction. Considering the context, learning of a gluten-free bakery peaked my interest. I quickly skimmed the items offered and to my husband's surprise, I had a list of things I wanted to try. We settled on: honey bun, reeces chocolate cake slice, strawberry and white chocolate cookie, fruitie pebble treat, strawberry tres Leche shortcake and a ham and cheese pastelito. Visually all were appealing however, after taking bites of each sweet I was amazed at the quality. We would never be able to taste the difference between the desserts made with wheat flour vs Patty's Crumbs treats. Everything was moist, fresh and rich. I can't wait to try more options. We will definitely return for birthday and event cakes/sweet treats and everything in between. Gluten sensitivity win! Now, if only fresh tasty gluten-free bread was a thing...I'd be in...

Patty’s Crumbs is hands down the best gluten-free bakery I’ve ever been to — and honestly, one of THE BEST bakeries around. I’ve been gluten free for about two years now, and before discovering Patty’s Crumbs, I’d try other baked goods and think, “Well, that’s good… for gluten free.” But everything here is JUST DELICIOUS!

My toddler is obsessed with the cupcakes and agua frescas, and I’m completely hooked on the Reese’s Dream cake and the Nutella-stuffed churro cookies! The flavors, textures, and quality are unmatched — gluten free or not.

What makes the experience even better is the staff. Liz and Isabela are always so kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Every time I walk into the shop, I’m greeted with warm smiles and the most amazing smell of fresh-baked treats. The shop itself is adorable — cozy, clean, and full of charm.

Patty’s Crumbs also offers gluten and dairy free options now. I was skeptical at first — how could something be both GF and DF and still taste amazing? But they have pulled it off! These are some of the best pastries I’ve ever had PERIOD!

I needed a gluten free baker to make my birthday cake. My dear friend has celiac and I’ve experienced gluten sensitivity. I ordered an 8” round fresh banana cake with carmel cream cheese frosting. OMG!!!!! The best cake I’ve ever eaten; gluten or gluten free! Guests asked for seconds and my family claimed the little that was left for breakfast. The cake, although “dear” it was worth it.
