I love these kinds of small restaurants that have a family style environment. The place was empty when we walked in for lunch, but to my delight the food was actually quite tasty! I asked for a recommendation and it did not disappoint! Everything came out pretty quickly too. The eggs were well done but the flavor itself was delicious, and the portions were perfect. We even had enough to take back for a second meal too! Highly recommend checking out if you’re in the area!

Came across this place when we pulled into a parking lot to look up restaurants. There it was up on a slight hill. Very cute, with outdoor seating looking over a river. Huge breakfast menu. Smaller lunch menu with burgers and salads but also burritos and tacos, both classic and American. Friendly and good service.

Andres is Fantastic! Very good and fresh food. We’ve eaten here many times now and love the food and the family centered service they provide with a very upbeat, polite and positive mood! Consistently very good food and a very reasonable price even STILL here in Aug. 2022😇👍🏻😄

Food was good but the service is AWFUL. The owner was my waitress and she was so rude. She loudly told other customers that they are drinking too much coffee and that she will no longer serve them. When we were ordering, she was impatient and gave us the stink eye if we added or substituted something. Can’t you have patience for a 7 year old? It was my nephews first time ordering for himself and her rudeness and glare made him uncomfortable and too scared to do it again. He’s a shy kid who stutters when he gets nervous. I get that you’re busy and have other things to do but waiting for him to finish saying “pancakes with fruit” without interrupting him and finishing his sentence for him was NOT needed. SO many concerning things happened but I feel like this is already so long… She openly talks bad about her customers in Spanish to those unfortunate enough to work with her (not even her employees are safe from her rude and obnoxious attitude). I know enough Spanish to understand what others are saying so when she was insulting her paying customers I understood. Not only was she making fun of an elderly couple for eating slowly but verbatim said (translated in English) “I wish Mexicans didn’t come here. They’re so cheap and don’t even tip enough. They take the seat of customers who actually pay.” Not only were they super kind and gracious for her service but they also left a generous tip. And take seats from customers? There were only three tables occupied. What seats are they taking exactly?

At this point im not even complaining about her waitressing ability, im complaining about her as a person. She’ll be outwardly rude to you and cause a scene if you more coffee than she deems necessary. I get that coffee is expensive but simply putting on the menu that there’s a 3 cup policy or explaining to the customer about said policy would be more than enough. Her behavior was exhausting to be around. The whole time I was there, her awful attitude made me so uncomfortable. Her smile would disappear the second she turned around so fast it made me uneasy. I would understand if the people she was doing this to were rude to her first but from what I saw, they were most often than not polite and thanked her for everything she did. And those who didn’t were simply concentrating on their family and thanked her when they finished eating. I just don’t understand how you can have so much hate for others, especially those who help...

TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE OWNERSHIP. HOPE YOU DON'T SPLIT A PLATE. I am writing this review for my parents that had a terrible experience here. First of all they had the displeasure to be served by the "owner" unfortunately I forgot the name that they told me. So I shall refer to her as "owner" my mom came here one with a friend and enjoyed it so she wanted to bring my dad for his birthday, a decision she will soon regret. Everywhere they go for breakfast they usually split a meal between the 2 of them. Some places charge $1 for just the extra plate some don't. This one happens to be the one that does. Once their food arrives they asked for salsa "chile" because they like their food to be spicy. This place charges another $1 for the salsa because it has jalapenos in it and the meal they ordered has jalapenos too. Who does that? They got the salsa anyway. I wouldn't have. Anyway they are eating their food and asked for more coffee. This "owner" tells them that they don't normally give this much coffee to people that split. Let nee be clear they did not split the cost of one coffee. They each paid for a coffee and there are free refills on coffee. At this time she also asked my parents where they were from. My parents tell her my family is from Mexico. This lady has the audacity to say "that's weird normally the Mexicans that come here love to eat they order allot and eat allot they love our food." My parents were stunned. Just because they are Mexicans doesn't mean they have to be profiled and told they aren't like the other Mexicans that go eat there. Let me reiterate this is the OWNER. What kind of owner says that. Never ever ever ever ever ever will I darken the door of this establishment. I guess they only value the customers that intend on spending and eating allot. I wish I could give them no stars....

Ive gone to this restaurant around 10:30 11:00 but to have a late breakfast. One time months ago when I asked for a refill of my coffee, they told me they were out but a regular that comes in daily came in behind me and wanted coffee and they brewed a fresh pot because the regular asked him how can you possibly be out of coffee but with that aside after telling me that they were out and I already paid my tab and was ready to leave. They seem to ration their portions of food for the day and once that portion is gone they just tell the customers are out. When I go out to breakfast I usually have a couple cups of coffee with a full breakfast and was pretty upset once I heard him offer to make a pot for a daily regular. Spent money on a full breakfast but was only able to get one cup of coffee and was charged full price didn't make me too happy. And this last time I went I ordered a simple breakfast. Bacon eggs toast hash browns. I asked them to make the bacon crispy and I think they purposely undercooked it and brought it to the table and when I sent it back it came back the exact same as when I sent it back for them to put it back on the grill for a minute to crisp it up. I really don't feel like unless you're a regular they're going to equally cater to you like they do to...
