Gerald and I finally made it to the Batavia Farmers Market after the kidney donation surgery, and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere was buzzing with positive vibes as the community came together to shop, stroll, and enjoy the day. Many even brought their adorable dogs along. The variety of vendors was amazing. From stunning local artwork, massage parlors, fresh herbs, cheeses, and so much more, there was truly something for everyone. We had our first taste of delicious tamales from Tamalex so flavorful and treated ourselves to refreshing boba tea from Thai Village, which was the perfect way to cool down. This market is a beautiful celebration of community and creativity. Highly recommend stopping by to support local businesses, try amazing food, and soak in the vibrant energy.

Came to the Batavia farmers market yesterday, Saturday at about 12 noon. Since the weather was perfect, there was tons of people there. So many great choices of various food, including Mexican, American and Thai. Lots of snack, snacks such as cheese, fresh fruits, and vegetables, and even beignets. Lots of local friendly sellers. Would definitely recommend. I believe the farmers market is Saturdays starting at about 8 AM going through about noon.

The Batavia Farmers’ Market is truly a shining gem in the heart of downtown Batavia! Celebrating its 30th season, this market is more than just a place to shop—it’s a vibrant community experience that brings together local farmers, makers, foodies, and families in the most joyful way.

Held every Saturday from May through October and now with Wednesday evening markets in the summer, the market has become a weekly tradition for my family. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend or wind down midweek.

What sets the Batavia Farmers' Market apart is the incredible diversity and craftsmanship of the offerings. Every booth is filled with thoughtfully grown, raised, or handcrafted products. From lush fresh greens and fragrant herbs to gourmet mushrooms, organic meats, and farm-fresh eggs, it’s a paradise for anyone who values quality and sustainability.

The baked goods are irresistible—whether you’re craving crusty artisan bread, buttery pastries, or allergy-conscious treats, there’s something for every palate. You’ll also find small-batch hot sauces, locally roasted coffee, fresh-cut flowers, honey, handmade soaps, and even unique pet treats. The fact that vendors are required to grow or produce at least 75% of what they sell is a huge bonus—you know you're supporting real local talent.

Each week feels a little different, thanks to seasonal produce and rotating vendors, and it’s clear the team at Batavia MainStreet puts so much care and heart into organizing this market. The location on North River Street adds to the charm—with live music, friendly faces, and a scenic river view, it’s a total vibe.

Whether you're a foodie, a conscious consumer, or just someone looking for a relaxing way to connect with your community, the Batavia Farmers’ Market is the place to be. Here's to 30 years of excellence—and many...

The Batavia Market is the best around.

If you want to best picks of fruits, veggies, baked goods, and all other yummy things, get there early. Hardcore market shoppers arrive at 8a :)

This is the community place to be with over 2500 shoppers per Saturday and nearly 50 vendors a weekend.

The live music, ability to walk with a bloody mary, tables for dining, all help to make going to the Batavia market a great way to spend your Saturday mornings.

The vendors are top notch too! All local vendors, from local farms that I've actually visited. Love this opportunity to support local...
