On Thursday, August 9th at approximately 11pm I ordered a double bacon smokehouse burger with no bun. Simple, right? McDonald’s instead gave me a mistake order (cheeseburger with ketchup). Mistakes happen. I completely understood, and I called the store moments later and spoke to a “Kori”, who apologized for the mistake and said to come back through for my actual order at my convenience. This is where things got interesting. A few nights later, Sunday, August 12th I came back through the drive thru at approximately 10:20-10:30 PM for my correct order. With me was the mistake order receipt (cheeseburger from first encounter), my actual receipt I was charged (double bacon smokehouse, no bun), and a sticky note with all the details (Spoke to Kori on 8/9/18 and was told to come back through). Well...after 5-7 minutes of waiting in line for my CORRECT order I was then charged $4.26 for yet another order they’d confused me with AFTER I gave the cashier the original receipts (I was under the impression I wasn’t receiving a free meal, but a discounted replacement bacon smokehouse-so I didn’t mind the charge). I was then pulled to wait for my order, and after SIXTEEN MINUTES (10:28 PM to 10:44 PM) Kori came outside with my correct order. She had then asked for clarification of the issue. I then told her “I came through once. Received the wrong order. Came through again. Was charged for an incorrect order. Waited 16 minutes.” Also, I was never refunded the $4.26 I was incorrectly charged from the second trip. I understand mistakes happen, but this experience alone has made me feel like getting the correct order has become such an inconvenience. That’s not what customer service and hospitality is about. In fact, I will no longer be going to this location anymore (not that it matters to them). I appreciate their ATTEMPT to do the right thing, but after a mistake order, an inaccurate charge to yet another mistake order, and then waiting 16 minutes just so I can get an “I’m so sorry” I think I’ll take my service elsewhere. And for future reference, Kori, instead of apologizing just give customers back their money that you inaccurately charged. Please, McDonald’s, PLEASE learn...
Read moreOK so it was 2am and I just wanted a fry to snack on. I pull up and there was already a line. No big deal, right? I get up to speaker 1, and the very friendly but obviously overwhelmed drive thru worker greets me and promptly putting me on hold while informing me that the store was only accepting cash at this time. Cool, I have cash on me. Now here comes a car full of princess dks. They pull up to speaker 2 and they started making loud noises and stuff in the speaker. I hear my speaker click once then she switches to speaker 2. I understand why. They were stupid boys and she wanted to get rid of them. I've worked fast food, I know what's up. Now mind you, I'd been in that drivethru quite a few minutes before all that, waiting. But after taking care of Cleetus & Co. with their "two separate orders" on speaker 2, I could have been made aware that I had not been forgotten. But no. After a solid minute I informed the silent speaker that I was only getting a large fry. I was met with a snotty "I will be right with you Ma'am." Welp, no. No thanks. I get you're busy, prolly short staffed and dealing with annoying customers but when I patiently wait, get skipped over and then wait more, only to catch YOUR attitude, I'll leave. I told speaker person "but I get skipped over for speaker two? Fk that." and I promptly left. I suppose you think I'm some entitled white chick but not really. I prolly make the same as McDonald's employees, I drive a car that is 17 years old and I know my $3 sale you lost doesn't mean crap. I do know that 1 comes before 2. I know how to not sound overwhelmed and grumpy towards customers. I know how to make sure my customers know they aren't forgotten. I would have totally been ok and carried on waiting if miss basic had reiterated that she would be right with me, after dealing with the car full of boys that really solidify my belief that Neanderthal DNA does still exist in at least part of the population. In conclusion, please be more aware of your tone and vet your employees before hiring so you don't have any more confusion as to whether 1...
Read moreIt seems no matter what you sit in the drive through for waaayyy too long. The staff takes forever to get to the person at the menu and order speaker. They also do not greet you when you pull up. I often wait 3-5 minutes for someone to say anything. My experience at other McDonald's locations in their drive through, they usually greet you almost within seconds and say that someone will be right with you if they can't get your order right away. Maybe they need to add another person on the drive through headsets to just greet their customers. The food is always pretty good, fresh and hot. They often have no ice cream "problems with their ice cream machine". But there is another place to get ice cream within walking distance. Update** stopped by tonight to get a quick dinner. That didn't happen. We waited in drive through for a decent amount of time, then got to the window, I then waited at least 5 minutes before I was able to order, I placed the order, we got to the window and waited 5-8 minutes or so for our food, one of the meals was made incorrectly, so we waited for that to be fixed. Then, my crispy chicken sandwich was either not cooked all the way or was sitting too long. It was stringy and stretchey when I bit into it. I took it back in, waited 6 minutes for someone to greet me while employees walked around aimlessly and they didn't even apologize, just said I'd have to wait 8 minutes for a new one in a irritated tone. They're way under staffed or under motivated to be at work. One of the two. This location needs either better staff or more staff. This is insane. EVERY TIME WE COME HERE there is something wrong or we wait for a long time in the drive through. As I was waiting for my sandwich 2 customers came in from the drive through with problems with their orders. Seems to be a place not to go to if you can avoid it. They don't even have their...
