Starbucks — Restaurant in Batavia Township

Got the matcha with 6 pumps of vanilla syrup and when I got it, there was no syrup. So it was bitter because they switched their matcha to be unsweetened.

So I told the barista hey it’s not sweetened I had 6 pumps of vanilla. So a girl on register took the cup and dumped it (which I was confused by because I just needed the vanilla - not it remade. She remade it and it was better because it was somewhat sweet but I don’t think she added 6 pumps. So it was still pretty strong and bitter and left a weird aftertaste.

I left and was rly bummed so I went thru the drive thru this time to ask if I can just get a strawberry açaí since I know it’s good.

Needless to say, the matcha I ordered was made wrong twice and I don’t think I will ever order matcha from Starbucks again lol. Plus it was a big waste of everyone’s time/energy.

No shade to the staff although I think they could have followed my mobile order ticket to a T (because I ordered it with 6 pumps of syrup) - not sure why that...

The manager is friendly but there is one particular barista by the name of Dedra who constantly gets overwhelmed by the littlest things and likes to take her frustrations out on the customers. If you make her angry she will ignore you at the window and when she does speak to you she will be short, rude, and give you attitude.

I spend nearly 20 dollars everyday at Starbucks so I am sorry if it’s a burden to want what I pay good money for. If my 6 dollar sandwich isn’t extra toasted without being hard as a rock then yes I will ask for it to be remade. I also feel it’s important to note that asking for a sandwich to be extra toasted doesn’t mean to toasted it to where it’s inedible it just means I like my bacon well...

I was enjoying my wonderful coffee inside of the restaurant, when I look up and I see a woman with a canine inside of the establishment, standing by the drink pickup holding her dog. I have a dog allergy, so I started to have a slight breakout. Then, I heard the shift lead/manager informing the woman that pets were not allowed inside of the establishment. The woman argued with the manager, however the manger didn’t let up. I believe this is very respectable since I firmly believe animals should not be near or inside of areas where food and drink preparation and consumption are taking place.
