From the moment I walked into Chicken Salad Chick, I was greeted with genuine warmth and kindness that completely set the tone for my visit. The lady at the front counter welcomed us with such a bright smile and an upbeat attitude — she made us feel instantly at home. She took the time to explain the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made sure I had everything I needed before I even had to ask. Her attentiveness was truly above and beyond, and that kind of care is rare to come by these days.

The rest of the staff was just as kind and attentive. Every single person I interacted with was patient, friendly, and seemed to genuinely care about creating a great experience for their guests. They checked in with me throughout my meal to make sure everything was perfect, they never once made me feel rushed.

We tried the Lemon Basil, Old South, and Sassy Scotty chicken salads — each one unique and full of flavor. The Lemon Basil was light and refreshing, the Old South had that perfect touch of Southern comfort, and the Sassy Scotty brought a creamy, savory twist that was absolutely delicious. And I can’t forget the grape salad — it was soooo good! Sweet, creamy, and just the right balance of fresh and indulgent. It honestly tasted like dessert.

So I am a transplant from Texas and was super excited to see that CSC opened locations up here in IL. Took my husband as a surprise. It was great. The food is always fresh and there are so many choices of chicken salad flavors and you are allowed to sample them to find your favorites. Each season they bring in a new flavor but just for a short time. They also have Pimento Cheese. Sadly RIP Egg Salad as they will not be carrying that anymore. There is also soup. I love getting the trio with the croissant on the side. The trio allows you to get 3 choices or scoops and/or soup if you want. I can never eat all 3 of the trio items but getting it ensures I will have a nice treat the next day. They have containers of the chicken salads and pimemto cheese as grab and go too. And those cookies...so delicious. You get a small one with each meal purchase. And I highly recommend the white cake. The frosting just melts in your mouth. They have red velvet cake as well but sorry I cannot comment on that because of that pesky red dye allergy of mine. It sure looks yummy though. I recommend downloading the app because those point add up quick and they have some fun CSC gear to use the points on or you can use them for food. The employees are always super nice and friendly....
