I made a special detour to the battle creek location on a road trip because there are no caribou coffees where I live. I didn't know that the only menu you have is on a qr code, so I asked the young lady at the window, since my phone was in the car did you have a paper menu, I told her my phone was in the car, she said I could scan the code, I asked her what if I didn't have a phone or what if it was dead in a playful manner. Her response was " do you really think I have any control over this?" In a condescending tone while looking at me sternly, I looked at my daughter and silently walked next door to panera, even my 9 yr old daughter said she was rude. She just losed the window and I assume went back to doing whatever she was doing before.
After receiving Excellent customer service from Panera, I felt compelled to discover who had treated my daughter and myself so poorly because Panera was amazing. I went back next door to ask for the name of the girl that had the dark brown/auburn hair at the window. They young lady said "the manager?" I said " that's the MANAGER?? Whats her name? She didn't feel comfortable telling me her name so she called Kylie over, but she said it low so it was unclear, when she walked over I asked for her name, she said Kylie, I responded with I just needed to know, thrn my daughter and myself proceeded to leave. Kylie looked surprised but she didn't apologize even though she had an opportunity to do so.
I couldn't believe the person who had just made me feel like I shouldn't trust her making anything in my face much less paying for her to walk away and make me anything was the manager! She made me feel like she was the type of person who would spit in your drink for asking questions. She's not a person who should be customer facing, and there should be alternatives to the qr menu. Both my daughter and I were very disappointed. I'd appreciate the opportunity to speak with the area director, I also made a complaint with Caribou directly so hopefully I'll hear...
Read moreI just finished an appointment on capital and saw this new place inside. I would try it. I got the mint cooler. It's Mindy but not overwhelming. But it is texturey in mouth feel if you know what I mean. It's a pre mix for sure. I was expecting the cold coffee to be more like a late but it's more like a frozen coffee. The sparkling peach tea with no energy was good! Certainly is trying to be Starbucks. Where if it just was authentically itself rather than trying to copy a different business. This might come off better. Staff was super friendly. I'll definitely be back to try some more drinks when I drive-by for my grocery...
Read moreWent for the first time just the other day and it was great! The staff is super positive and helpful and was excited when I said it was my first time here. She asked me some questions about how I like my drinks and then gave me a great recommendation to try out. Her name was Kate I believe. But not only was Kate lovely, the other woman who greeted me at the drive through was so friendly and knowledgeable too. I ended up with this blended Campfire drink and a Just Egg Tomato & Pesto Flatbread (vegan) and it was so good! Would definitely recommend stopping by if you're...
