I feel like this is a very "mixed bag" when I think of how to review it.

The pros: the free salsa and chips were tasty, if a bit on the spicier side. I like that, you may not.

Portions for mushroom fajitas, flautas and a burrito were all very generous and the main dish in each was delicious.

Portions of rice and beans as sides for the above were also generous, except for the fajitas...there was a visible difference in quantity.

Beans were very tasty. Rice was decent, if a tiny bit bland... perfectly cooked, however. Pico de gallo was excellent, and the guacamole was absolutely divine.

Decor is gorgeous, tables are clean, and someone always seems to be mopping or wiping something down. Love that!

Server was friendly and quick to see to our needs. No question she earned her tip!

Menu had plenty to choose from. Prices were mostly reasonable (see cons), though this is definitely not a "cheap" place.

Cons: The prices seem all over the place. The $12.95 for my mushroom and chicken fajita (includes beans, rice, pico de gallo and some guac) was on point, but $2.00 for a basic beef taco is not.

They charge for everything extra, even a tiny side of sour cream.

Don't even bother ordering cheese dip. It's a strange orangish brown color and tastes awful. I've gotten both white and orange queso at Mexican restaurants before... and I often mix salsa in it when I do. I've never had it come out this color or taste like this. This was a huge disappointment for us, as we like starting our meal with chips and cheese.

Will we be back? Possibly. We'll be making our way through the other Mexican restaurants in town first, though, just to see what else is available before we settle on a favorite. I would not be at all adverse to dining here again... it's just not quite "favorite" material.

And I would not hesitate to grab some guac-to-go from here any time... it really was some of the best I've had outside my own kitchen, and I'm hard to please when it...

Rude and when I called to complain they said I’m the rude one! after they stole my money! They have a 18 year old child and another younger cooking! Since they did not care about me being a loyal consumer I will be reporting g for child labor laws and also filing a complaint with BBB about my family receiving our money back! This establishment has new owners and I would not visit! Los amigos is better! Please don’t go here cause ur complaints will not be taken with care! We asked for our money back they would not give us out money back! They were mad cause I simply said I don’t like guacamole! Then the server ask me to hurry up and pay cause he has other things to do cause he was upset for messing my food up! How does that work! Restaurants not taken accountability is the worst! Please don’t eat here! I am also viral on tik too and will make it appoint for this returnable to loose business especially black buisness! I wish there was a 0 stars cause they don’t deserve 1! After 2020 is just best to cook at home! These establishments do not care! ATTITUDES WAS BEYOND TRASH EVEN THE OWNER PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY! This will be added to twitter; fb; tic too and yelp of all my family member accounts from here to Massachusetts! They don’t deserve...

I will begin by saying Nina’s has been my FAVORITE restaurant for years…years. For every single birthday and anniversary it’s my go to! My usual is the #23. That didn’t even change even they reopened after their renovation during Covid. So I was lucky enough to continue ordering my favorite the same way I always have. So it’s not hard to at why I’ve never had to complain. Until I grab an order for myself one evening. I took it with me to work. When I bite into my favorite meal I find it has been served to me with jalapeños. This is concerning to me because I’m highly allergic to them. So I called and alerted them to the problem and the young lady that waited on me sounded extremely concerned and asked me to being said food back so the “new cooks” could be told how it should be made. So I left work to return the $22.00 order only to be told there weren’t any jalapeños in it. Basically called me crazy and told me they would make me a new one with pico (pico is ALWAYS included and never caused me an issue).

It’s unfortunate that my years of being a loyal customer and contributing to my local business as support only ferry’s me mistreated. I’ll be actively searching for a new...

Always a favorite in town. The food is consistently great and the service is down-home and friendly. 🙏🏼 Edit: Some years back I stopped eating meat. Obviously, that makes eating Mexican food difficult and unfortunately, Nina's doesn't have many options. I ordered a burrito with grilled veggies and declined the meat that is normally inside. I was charged an extra $2.50 even though I didn't get any meat. I thought maybe it was an error so tried another time. The burrito was an extra $2.50 and tacos were an additional $1.00. Honestly, to charge extra for some onions and green peppers that are on the grill already for fajitas and such is ridiculous. There were no special veggies they saved the cost of meat but charged extra. It's a bit ridiculous and forced me to explore the other Mexican options in the area. Please change this.

My Husband and I stopped here for lunch after it was recommend by a gentleman at the Henkel Auto Group. It was not very busy, we sat at the last booth. Our menus came fast and so did our drinks and free chips.... But it took probably 20-25 minutes for her to come back and take our order. (We arrived at 12:41, food came out at 1:19pm) our food came out within 10 minutes of us ordering... She did apologize and everyone was nice. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed it. My Husband and I each ordered the Burrito Especial with Barbacoa and white sauce. We also shared a tamale and side of beans. The food made the visit worth it. Bill was $44.

I had my food picked up and they gave the driver someone else’s order. Then I go to take the food back to get what I originally ordered. When I go to check to look at the food in front of the cashier he tell me he made sure it was right and it not dry on the inside. I get back to work and of course they are closed now and my order was still made incorrectly. With my experience with them I would say yes the food is good but just eat inside the restaurant because every time I order outside they always get something wrong!
