Food was good for quick service, ordered via the mobile app whilst looking for a table we missed a table that would have suited the 5 of us to a young couple who were quicker than us, fair enough, only to see another table become available which my daughter sat down put her bag on table then for an older woman to come and say, ‘ I was just about to sit here’ 🤣 my daughter said I’m already sat down before you 🤔. She said ‘ my grandson is having a meltdown’ says she trying to force her to move 😳. My daughter felt she had to say my mum has bone cancer & diabetes and needs to sit (true btw) but she shouldn’t have felt she needed to say that to keep the table. ‘Fine have it’ the woman said…. Really… are we in competition for a blooming table 🤯.
Rudest American woman ever. So entitled and so lucky I was collecting food and she hadn’t said that to me, I was so enraged when I heard she tried to bully her way to moving my daughter Anyhoos the food was worth the visit and mobile ordering is advisable, but get there a good 15 maybe 20 minutes before your time as table hopping is very prevalent and a lack of with some ignorant people around and too many people V amount of tables. More seating required to cater to amount of food / visits you are having.. and people be nice no need to bully people in to moving from a table, or stop stop stop taking as many orders if there isn’t enough seating.
Suggestion to Woody’s lunchbox / Disney revise order V table availability and / or add more tables as you are very popular.
My daughters were insisting on going to WLB after watching bloggers on YouTube in UK before we left for Orlando, you’re of course not accountable for peoples behaviour when they are rude-but… the root cause is not enough tables and taking too many orders, this issue is fuelling the fire. Fix that and it would be a nicer experience for visitors this might help avoid a potential issue arising from people either becoming unwell waiting or a confrontation arising!!!
All in all we enjoyed our lunch, very yummy, but we wouldn’t return due to seating fiasco and I would not recommend people to go, sorry!
Potentially visitors be lack of table...
Read moreDisney is hit or miss… this was miss! Not because of the food. The food was what I expected for the price and rather tasty. The pulled pork grilled cheese was gooey, flavorful and perfectly grilled. The tots were a bit soggy but crispy on the edges and the cheese sauce was a tad bland, but a little salt perked it up! The prices are… fair I guess for a Disney lunch but everyone knows they are pricey! This is clearly a very casual spot but I have never felt so much anxiety eating lunch in my life. We ate late, around 2pm thinking crowds would be more manageable. But lately Disney is so chaotic and the service has gone wayyyyy down hill! The line is madness and seems to have no flow. After ordering you “wait” in front the food window like a sardine crammed in a can with other fish. It’s elbow to elbow in a sea of people waiting to get their order. Our order was wrong, not once, but TWICE and we were left to feel as if it was our fault both times. (It wasnt! We reversed our order seeing the chaos we knew it would be) Once we finally got our CORRECT(ish) order (they still messed it up) we struggled to find anywhere to sit! I felt like a vulture standing next to tables while chomping at the bit for a chance to steal their seat the moment they flinched. It was pure misery and escalated all our anxiety while we should be having fun. The food gets a 6/10 The service and flow of this place gets a -10/10 I will never attempt to eat here again even though I quite enjoyed my grilled cheese and would like to have one again. I’ll make my own at home and NOT have a stroke...
Read moreWoody's Lunch Box: Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios does a fantastic job in making you feel like you've shrunken down to the size of a toy. This is apparent in all things from rides to the dining. Woody's Lunch Box is a quick service restaurant that's modeled after his owner's Lunch Box. I went with the BBQ Brisket Melt, which is Shredded Smoked Brisket, Pickles, and Tangy Barbecue Sauce between Melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack on Grilled Sourdough Bread. The sandwich might look a little underwhelming, almost just like a plain old grilled cheese. Looks can be deceiving though as this tightly pressed melt was loaded with plenty of juicy meat and gooey cheese. Toasted bread can be too dry for me sometimes, but there was plenty of BBQ sauce to balance out the dryness. The place was packed (as is Toy Story Land in general) and I went during the offseason, on a weekday, and around 3:00pm. When I saw the line I thought..... well the word I'm searching for - I can't say, because there's preschool toys present. I'm glad I roughed it out (and the line did move quickly enough), because this melt tasted great and was also plenty filling. A side of crispy tater tots was also included. I still wish Disney would make a Pizza Planet restaurant that actually looks like the one in the original movie, but Woody's Lunch Box will do for now. Doughboy...
