Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Baytown

Something in Popeye's Chicken is always making me sick... but it isn't just the local Popeye's either... I think, it is the type of oil they use, but I eat other at chicken places... I never get sick. I eat at Popeye's? Definitely will vomit. I rarely go there, but sometimes I end up eating it, at other people's homes... always vomit.

It's tastes good going down, not coming back up. So, also, super strange that this has happened since I was very young.... and at ANY Popeye's establishment.

The places are clean... staff: tidy and polite... but always get sick.

I literally believe it has something to do with the oil they use... I have stomach issues with certain oils. So, I never purposefully eat Popeye's chicken... I have only consumed it, as an adult, because I was unaware it was, in fact, Popeye's chicken.

So, if you have the same difficulty with their chicken, and have also, had some stomach problems with certain oils... you may have the same issues, as I have had with Popeye's...

My parents went and dined in here today and the gentleman that took her order was very rude. My mom told them that the chicken was dried up And he flat out told her "oh well". They had also placed an order to go and ask if they can get it served when they were ready to leave and the same guy made the order put it with what they ordered on their first ticket. He would not replace the food that was dried up and called the sandwich they got to be soggy. When she you mentioned it to them about the order wasn't supposed to be made until they were ready to leave the same gentleman just gave my mama ugly look and did nothing about it. If you ask me he doesn't need to be working there and he's the reason why I'm putting this up here for everyone to see because no one wants to experience that type of service when they go to spend their money somewhere food...

We were there for over half an hour waiting on our food . Anytime we'd ask how much longer , the cashiers excuse was that she was working with boys and if she had a crew of women, they would have gotten it done by now . While bagging our food (which btw they did oh soooo slowly ...even after making it clear we were ready to go) they broke the apple pies that took 8 minutes to fry because they weren't careful enough . Never again will we eat here again. The manager just watched from afar and did not have the courtesy to apologize on their behalf . And even after complaining , all they offered was a "courtesy drink" to make up for the lost time after we received our order . To top it all off , we get home and we are missing 8 biscuits...
