Eat'n Park — Restaurant in Bazetta Township

Just not good service. Twice my fiancé and I have been here the service hasn't been good. Today was the final straw and it has been added to the banned list.

The waitress we had was nice. Upon being seated she arrived fast to take our drink order and return with drinks. We ordered - buffet for me and burger for my fiancé. 20 minutes go by and the waitress tells us that the cooks lost the order and the food was just now being made. This is the second time we have been to this location where the waitress has said it was the cooks that were responsible for the food not being prepared. Fiancé and I have both been kitchen workers and know that the wait staff love to tell customers that it's the cooks fault - it's not like they can defend themselves. She tells us our bill was being discounted. Okay. Food is then dropped off 10 minutes later. She offered no refills and forgot the ranch. We didn't see her come back for another 15 minutes. She offered to get him a refill before he could ask - his drink was empty. She then didn't return but instead walked around picking up her tips. She came back to the table 10 minutes to ask if there was anything else we needed. Fiancé asked for the refill. She didn't even register that she had said she was already going to do this. His finished up eating. She dropped off bill and never came back. 10 minutes passed and we just decided to pay up front. We passed her cleaning out a booth on our way out and she said sorry. Restaurant was pretty empty at that point and we saw lots of other servers so unsure why she was gone so long.

We did witness a couple sitting at a booth waiting on their bill when we first sat down and her walk past them to service us. They must have been there a while because they looked upset when they asked another server for their bill. Judging by the servers face when getting her tip it wasn't good and looked like there was a note written in place of the tip section.

Server was super nice but I don't know if she was having a bad day. I was more bothered about blaming the mistake...

Honestly... If I could give a (-5 )star rating for the day we stopped to get dinner, (not our first experience with these fools), I would... It was a good day, we did our shopping, stopped at this craphole, on our way home, to get dinner. My wife, God bless her, helped an elderly couple out the door, (No, that doesn't require a standing ovation. It's called being polite, and considerate). We, my wife, daughter, and I were looking forward to having our usual, "outing " dinner, and patiently waited in the lobby, to be seated... waitress/ server, watching us from behind the pie counter, as we waited at the, "wait to be seated" sign... I, used the restroom, and returned, to patiently wait for the server, (still looking at us from behind the counter), to seat us.... As we waited, two other couples with children, and a party of six came in, dressed the same, (honesty worse, as none of us, wear sweatpants, crocs, and overly full, "XL" t-shirts), looking to eat. They walked in, shouldered past us, to, "claim their space", in line, and the waitress behind the counter, who had been, "ignoring" us for 20 minutes or more, IMMEDIATELY, decided they were, "more important"...(guessing she knew them, or they "order" more)... and seated them all...

Personally... I've boycotted this place, and will NEVER go back...... What they don't, "understand", is the power of the written word, and word of mouth...

In a, "service" position", you NEVER ignore anyone... you ALWAYS ask if you can, "help"...

Word of advice, to anyone who stops here... If you're hungry, and want a good meal, search for, "local restaurants", and drive the few extra miles to get a good meal, and be...

We frequent another location at least once a week for the salad bar. We happened to be in the Warren area today & went to that location. It was awful! We all got salad bar, & my hubby also got an appetizer. The salad bar was dirty, there were several empty containers that stayed empty the entire time we were there. The food was so water logged, that we felt like we were just eating water. Even our 2 children (13 & 8yo) said, without prompting, how everything including the chicken noodles soup tasted different & weird in comparison. They barely ate anything. No one attended the salad bar once while we were there. A few staff came to look at it, but never did anything. Didn't wipe it up, didn't refill empty items, nothing; just looked at it. The main reason we frequent buffets/salad bars is bc our children like variety & eat soooo well in those settings. We love encouraging the healthier choices they make when we eat at places like this. My girls are fruit & veggie people.

The receipt states to talk to the manager before leaving. When the cashier checked us out & asked how everything was, I was honest, kind, & said "not that great actually" & said what the issue was. He/They (per name tag) looked me straight in the eyes & said, I'm sorry about that. Period. No offer of speaking to a manager, no offer of a discount, no offer of a coupon to return again, etc. He/They gave me my receipt & said nothing else to us. Not even have a nice night. Not a word. I said "$89 including tip for a water dinner, nice." He/They still did not respond. I stood there shocked, & we left. All of us are so bloated from the water logged food. We will NEVER return to this...
