I’m a believer! 😇LOL, my family love Subway, but historically I was the doubting Thomas in the group and would only buy a sandwich from Subway once a year, if that. While inside the BP on corner of Chagrin and Richmond Rd today, I heard a police officer and another man give their lunch orders; which sounded tasty. I was already hungry, and started reviewing the menu and observing the two young ladies behind the counter preparing the sandwiches so meticulously for the Officer and other man that I got drawn in to make a purchase for myself. I asked a number of questions because I wasn’t familiar with all the sandwiches, but wanted Turkey to be on my sandwich. The workers were Mary & Ketta. Mary explained a few good options, so I ended up with a kid size Turkey Italiano (not sure of spelling). I was still a bit of a sceptic, so I just figured I’d try a small size. God! I wish I had purchased the 6” or foot long to eat foe 2 days.😂However, I didn’t realize just how delicious the sandwich would be until I had drove back home and started eating it. I called my daughter and niece to describe what I had on the Turkey Italiano and the contents are on Italian herb and cheese bread. I ended our conversations by saying with all sincerity “that was the best take out sandwich I’ve ever had in my lifetime.” They believed me because I have always believed I can make a sandwich at home to taste far better than any restaurant. NOT TRUE anymore because the worker named Ketta politely asked what I wanted on fresh little piece of bread (kiddy sandwich), and not kidding, she was a master at making “my sandwich” just the way I would make it at home (not too much and not too little veggies). I told my niece and daughter I love that sandwich, but I also think the food prepare staff made a world of difference to whether I would enjoy it or not. The area was very clean and that’s a big plus for me when eating out. I am happy to know that this subway/store is open 24 hours a day because I will be back and I will promote their business at this location. No joke! I wish I had purchased the larger sandwich, I’ll have to wait until...
Read moreIf everyday was Thanksgiving, this would be heaven. Ah, what the heck, they turkey sub from this Subway is heaven. I imagine the Pilgrims and the Native Americans would be happy to sit down at a table and enjoy the foot long Subway turkey sub. They could get it in a variety of ways. White cheese, orange cheese or no cheese. Lettuce and pickles or no lettuce and just pickles. And the dressings, don't get me started. Oil and vinegar, ranch, mayo, chipotle sauce, it really is overwhelming the choices they offer. And since it is in the BP, you also have the option of buying a lotto ticket, a pack of smokes, a six pack of beer or even a bag of chips. It's a virtual mecca of shopping and dining. If there was room for a dance floor, this would be a great place to hold a reception. Each guest could get just the sandwich they like. Except for that jackwad Fred, he always makes a big stink about how great the cole slaw is at his house. Well Fred, we are not serving cole slaw and if you have a problem with that, you can just stay home. Besides, who every heard of putting pickle slices in cole slaw? That's like bringing a spare tire to a rodeo, it just isn't done. Did you know with each sandwich they give you two napkins? That's pretty high brow don't you think? Do they think I am such a slob I need two napkins? I can eat the entire sandwich without dripping anything on me, especially if I leave off the tomatoes and all dressings. So, yeah, I recommend this Subway. They make the sandwich to order, none of that pre-wrapped...
Read moreI wish I could leave no stars. I went and there was a sign on the gas station door that they would be closed for shift change until 12:30. (This was referring to the gas station)Mind you it was about 12:16am. I asked was the subway closed aswell. The extremely rude lady that was very short and dismissive barely wanted to turn around and walk not even 6ft to asked the person who I clearly saw standing behind the counter at the subway were they closed. She finally walked over and said she (the manager) would probably be ready at 12:45 or 1am due to getting the drawer ready. I thought this was a 24hr subway. I didn't bother wasting anymore time. NEVER go there unless you call to avoid wasting time or gas or just wait and go somewhere with better and friendlier service. I should have gotten a picture of...
