We have stayed in this hotel for 4 years. Every year we come and see how this hotel is improving, renovating its property, and welcoming guests. This time we stayed on points, which was nice. Our spacious room, # 203, was clean but smelly with mold. We did not report this problem, it was minor.
The major problem was the pillows- my husband compared sleeping on them with sleeping on the pumpkins. We told Ray, the manager, and he explained it to us that every three years "Marriott" completely changes its pillows to keep them fresh. They have just changed theirs; but the new pillows are huge, puffy and uncomfortable! Fortunately, the housekeeping found a couple of "old" pillows for us. They were just fine and soft. The sleep quality would have been better with those, traditional ones. The breakfast was sufficient and fresh: eggs, sausages, potatoes, milk, fresh fruit and breakfast breads. The pool was excellent! It is a small but well kept, clean swimming pool with towels complimentary provided by the hotel. One remark; we noticed that one day the clean towels were in the right box, and the dirty ones-in the left. The following day the clean towels were placed in the dirty left box, and the dirty ones- in the right. No one cared to clean the boxes with Clorox, or to keep the placement consistent. This should be addressed by the management. Wi-Fi- excellent speed. Lobby- clean and modern. Staff- welcoming, supportive, and hard working. Check-out- easy. My 12 y.o. daughter forgot her pink T-shirt, called the hotel the following day, and received it promptly on our way to the airport two days later. In addition, she got a small kid's plastic necklace, which she immediately put on her neck and smiled. She pulled her iPhone, dialed the front desk number and said, "Thank you for everything!" In conclusion, I would say that the management of this hotel is doing things right. We are looking forward to...
Read moreSo Iâm one of the guest staying at this hotel and my family member just made a review I find it very unprofessional how they dismissed and accused him of making up the insect problem and blamed it on them, Basically implying that the reason we saw roaches was because of us having food which is a lie we kept our room very clean throughout our stay and the fact the owner invalidated him, didnât even apologize and redirected the blame on him. âWhoâs ACTUALLY PAYING for your roomâ is crazy itâs very very disrespectful, disgusting, back handed, and unprofessional you should never discuss personal information of your guest. How we pay for the room should not matter when we come into a hotel we expect good professional service. You guys claim we took too much food from the breakfast buffet but never expressed or implied that there was a limit if you guys do not want guest taking much food put up a sign or at least let them know!!!! Not have a big woman hovering over my family while there trying to get breakfast in peace that is very threatening and telling them off as if they knew there was a limit to how much food they can take VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.. and mind you the food we got from the buffet was not all for ourselves we have 2 elderly parents that wasnât able to come down to breakfast. There was no signs or warnings that every person can only physically grab 1 plate! The way you people came at us was unacceptable! With FOUL attitudes. No respect was given and we felt very threatened, invalidated, stereotyped, scared for our lives, and discriminated against. The staff was very rude ever since we checked in. I HAVE AN IMMUNE DEFICIENCY I AM ALLERGIC TO ROACHES MY HEALTH IS AT RISK HERE WE OPENED THE DISHWASHER TO FIND HUNDREDS OF ROACHES I AM VERY TEMPTED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AND WE RISK TAKING THIS BACK HOME THERE IS ALSO MOLDED CABINETS I AM VERY...
Read moreThis is hotel is by far one of the worst Marriott hotel that I have stayed in . I fly in from Atlanta to Cleveland every week since August. Lately there is always a problem. First off it is so much traffic in out of this place. It feels like a shelter sometimes and not a extended stay hotel. I understand they house a lot of relief victims or for insurance claims. This does not make it better. I mean they residents are allowed to have dogs...huge dogs. I have seen residents bring their dogs to the dinning area, which is horrible. My toilet clogged a few weeks ago around 10pm I called down to the front desk to request for maintenance to come up to fix it. After waiting 45 MINUTES I called back to the desk just for them to tell me that they left a plunger at my door. First I DID NOT request a plunger nor did anyone knock on my door to inform me that a plunger was left. WTH, SO being that is was late and I have to work in the morning. I take the plunger but to my surprise it is full of HOLES. WTH, Are kidding me???. At this point I have to get out of my bed to go down to front desk to demand the some to come fix this problem. The room are not clean , multiple times I found where my bath tub was dirty and I had to clean it myself. Just recently I went to dry my hands on a towel, that was folded up DIRTY with food stain all over it. On top of that I spotted a BUG in my bathroom. The stove top is not clean., bathroom not clean. I requested another room. I HATE this hotel. the only reason I am still here is because of work and I happen to really like the staff lik Jasiman, Venus and Valerie . They are really nice, helpful, friendly, compassionate and great customer service.. They try to make the bad experience better. All in all I expect more from a Marriott hotel. I am highly disappointed. STAY...
