I really was craving some Bojangles strips, however my craving soon subsided. Besides the restaurant just plain looking dirty, the food bar station was a mess, food did not look fresh but I pushed on and ordered. As I waited for my order to be prepared, I am witnessing many of the employees serving food without gloves, hair exposed, just unsanitary. The young man who took my order & handling the register was putting the paper linings into the food order boxes, just plain gross, as to me the food would be contaminated with his germs as he too had no gloves on while doing this.
After awaiting a while, I was asked what I ordered, the young man filling my order said there was no rice, then the young man that was on the register said there was some there, and the other one said I thought you said 10min. When I asked for fresh strips I was told there were none, and no timeline was given. At that point I was grossed out, annoyed, I just preferred a refund, besides nothing was prepared in regard to my order. As I waited for the young man to process my refund, another guest asked about fresh strips and she was told 1 minute, same for fries. I was not extended that same courtesy of being given a time frame, but the employee said that was on me for not asking how long.
At the end I left just leaving the receipt and praying they processed the refund as the cashier whom claimed was the manger didn’t know how to process the refund/credit even after calling his supervisor and telling me someone should be there in a few minutes to process it, which meant more waiting on my part. It was a no for me! And if they end up no processing my refund I will call my bank and dispute the charge as i received no food...
Read moreI never ever leave reviews, but this was a horrible experience. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal with fries, a Bo bites meal with Mac and cheese, two Cajun filet biscuits, and a few sides of honey mustard via doordash. I placed my order at 8:30, and checked google to make sure I wouldn't be cutting it too close. It said they closed at 10, so I went ahead with my order. Around 9:10, my dasher calls me and says they are out of Mac and cheese and the Cajun filet biscuits. I said to replace the Mac and cheese with fries and asked if they could do a bacon egg and cheese biscuit in place of the Cajun filets. They said no because they turn the grill off at nine. Why on earth are the grills off an hour before close, and why didn't they call me themselves before the grill was turned off/when the dasher got there. Then, someone comes around the corner and said they actually did have two filets left for the biscuits. Okay whatever, just do the biscuits and replace the Mac and cheese with fries. I can also barely hear my dasher, on the phone, over the sound of all of the workers yelling. Fast forward to my order getting here. The chicken on my sandwich and the Bo bites were so tough. We could barely bite into them. We only got one order of fries, which were cold, and no honey mustard. I spent $50 on this order and it was barely edible. I have worked in food service since I was old enough to work. I am usually super understanding, but this was just a super...
Read moreWent to Bojangles after church and baby shower, asked the young man at the counter for the freshest chicken, was told chicken was 3 minutes old, and another guy walked up and told the first guy, if this was your restaurant you wouldn't want to waste chicken. I told him that I don't want no old chicken, so he continued to fix the chicken that was on front counter, at the same time the fresh chicken was being put on back counter, so I told him that the chicken I want. He put back a few chicken and proceeded to give me the fresh, then stop after putting two pieces in the box and went back to the old chicken again to fill my order. I still had to wait on biscuits to bake, when they came up the guy doing the biscuits said what wrong with the old ones are they hard. He gave me the fresh biscuits. I got fresh biscuits and old chicken, asked for my receipt and began to walk out the door, I overheard one of the guy saying something smart, I believed he cursed. None of them were wearing name tags. When eating at Bojangles don't ask for fresh chicken because they worry about waste than what the...
