This location is unfortunately really bad.
The food is hit or miss, the customer service is really bad (the best service I’ve gotten in the last 3 years was from a brand new employee).
It feels dead in there. Like it’s surprisingly empty every time I go, I think locals in Beaufort don’t come here, I think it’s mostly out of town folks who expect it’s not going to be as bad as it is. It’s really bad. Not saying you won’t have a good experience here, just that there’s really no telling what to expect. It’s always a gamble.
Because the service is so absolutely dismal, the few times a year I go here I usually place to-go orders, but this most recent time they tried to charge me for “extra wet.” Never been charged for that before, and unless something changed in the last couple of months, I don’t think that’s the corporate policy? But hey who cares that’s no big deal. Well, then I go to actually pick up my order, and somehow 10 of the 30 wings we ordered weren’t even in the bag, AND none of them had sauce on them, the sauce was in little cups. How is that even possible? We ordered 30 boneless wings and we got 20 chicken nuggets. Nuts. Went back in to ask the store to make it right and yeah, somehow they’re upset that we’re asking for… what we paid for?
I’ve even spoken to former employees who now work at other restaurants in Beaufort and they say it’s a management problem. Idk what the problem is but the food here is really hit or miss, sometimes it takes like 40+ minutes for the food to come out, when nobody is in the restaurant. Super weird. The staff isn’t very friendly at all.
Would love to change my review to 5 stars if this improved but it’s been like this for at least 4 years and it’s sad because BWW used to be one of my favorite restaurants. Now I just go to wingstop instead. Wingstop is fantastic, right across the street, and has never once messed up an order.. they’re also very nice. I think I’m done giving this location a chance sadly. I’d rather drive to Bluffton and take a gamble there, it really can’t be...

Ordered 20 piece boneless to go. Asked for a soft drink to go too but wanted to wait at the bar and watch a little basketball. So I tell the bartender ( very nice guy) I was waiting on a to go order and needed a to go drink. Told me my choices, all Pepsi products. I wanted a fountain drink but could only get a bottle? So after going through the choices I asked for a mountain dew. They were in the cooler right in front of us. They were 86d on the menu, so instead of just handing me one because they didn't have Dr. Pepper, he had to get a managers card to unlock them on the pos system keyboard. Then find my order ($22 +$5 ) tip so he could sell me a 20oz bottle of Mt Dew for $2.22! As I was digging for the change for the drink my order was brought to me. So basically I sat there for 15 minutes waiting on a drink I didn't want , that was 5' in front of me and had to pay $2.22 for me to take home . I could of gotten a drink at the multitude of gas stations I passed on my way home. It might sound petty, but how hard would of been to just get me a to go cup at the servers station and given it to me. And he had 2 customers at the bar , finished eating and another bartender or bar back? The wings were good, but I being a restaurant manager for years would of just given me the drink which I had originally asked for when I put in my order, and was directed to the bar by the( host I think?) who took my order. Place was clean and we'll staffed, just lacking experience in making return customers by doing a simple thing like giving me a to go drink in a to go cup at a...
