My son, 2 grandsons and I went to 5 Guys Burgers and Fries on Paragon Blvd. the week of July 18th 2022. We ordered 1 cheeseburger, 1 bacon cheeseburger, 2 hotdogs, 3 small fries, 2 large and 2 small drinks. The food was fine.
THE BILL CAME OUT TO $65.10 DOLLARS! WTH?
After you get over the shock of the price, you watch other customers react the same.
I DO NOT have a problem with the following: You go up to the counter to order your food. You get your own drink. You get your own condiments. You go up to the counter to get your food. Your expected to clean up your table.
That is completely fine with me. My problem is that you're expected to LEAVE A TIP! Cooking the food is your job that you get paid for. They should be ashamed asking for a tip on top of how over priced the food is. If they didn't expect a tip, the option wouldn't be on the credit card reader.
The same items at Texas Roadhouse is $37 plus tax and a 20% tip comes to about $45. This includes being sat at a table, being served complimentary rolls with cinnamon butter, your meals, drinks and services. Don't forget no cleaning up.
The outrageous cost completely over...
Read moreI stop by here for a quick meal for the family from time to time and it's usually great. This time wasn't so great. They seemed really busy and chaotic. There were two people ahead of me that had already ordered and one of them seemed pretty concerned that his food was taking a long time. My order od 3 burgers, 1 hot dog and 1 large fry ended up being over $50 and took almost 20 minutes to prepare. This is usually an in and out in 10 to 13 mins. Not that bad if the crew was new or struggling. But when we got home to eat the food was less than mediocre. The only thing on my bacon cheeseburger that had any flavor at all other than grease was the jalapeños. They were fresh and crispy. But the rest of the burger was just a greasy sandwich. Nothing that made me want to return for another. I think this was my families last trip to 5 Guys. Good luck out there. I'm shopping for a new...
Read moreFive Guys has the best burgers and fries that any fast food place has to offer. Hopefully they never shrink from their consistent quality. Never before in my life would I ever pay $10 in Ohio for a burger... But it's so worth it. Food like this has to be eaten at the diner, not taken to go. I'd like to try a milkshake but the price is just so daunting. It's a favorite spot for me and my gf. The Beavercreek Five Guys always have given me the best food. My only complaint is that sometimes the burgers tend to fall apart, as in the toppings, or even the burger fall out of the sandwich, ruining the experience being forced to eat it as fast as possible.... Too much leftover grease maybe?
The fries are to die for... And you get a ton of them and that's reflected...
