Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Beavercreek

Went in today and the place was filthy, every table was dirty, and every metal tray for eat-ins was dirty. The food line was a mess and when the employees were making the food they were so careless flinging it around everywhere, dropping bits from one container in all the others, and the side item containers into the food and then throwing them in the floor off to the side somewhat towards the trash can. It looked like they had a food fight. Completely careless about their job.

There were stacks of dirty containers lined up on the counter behind, clearly from their whole shift. The store was NOT that busy to be this messy.

When we went to pay and were told they didn't have any clean trays for us, I went and grabbed a tray and took it back up to the counter and handed it to the employee. I asked for her to please wipe it off. She tipped it to the side shaking off the food and literally wiped it on the side of her pants and laid it on the counter and started putting our food on it. I said thanks but we will just carry our food. After ringing out and having several kids meals, we were told they had no chips bags ready. Had to wait for the girl to go in the back and make up kids chips. Did I mention the store was not busy at this time. There was no excuse for this!

While were ordering our food down the line there was clearly a new guy who was doing well and learning. The female manager/shift lead was rude and condescending to him the entire time I could hear her. It really seemed like she just hated her job and us customers being there annoyed her. When she walked away, the guy behind us in line said she is absolutely horrible, this place has gone down hill so much lately. I really try not to come during her shift.

After we sat down there were no customers for several minutes. Not one employee came out and cleaned up or came and grabbed the trays to clean. Within a few minutes, a new shift came on and this female and her employees all just left! Just left the store completely filthy and more than likely left all those dirty containers in the back sink for the next shift to take care of.

Come on guys! Do better! It's not that hard to take some pride in your work. I don't care what it is.

Since we just moved to the area, my teenage son was interested in getting info on if they were hiring. He even spoke to the new guy, super nice, after we paid and got the pamphlet of info. When we left the store I said there is no way you are working here.

If you want some good tasting Chipotle and friendly customer service, go to the one in Springboro on 73 near 75, it's worth the drive. They are hands down the best Chipotle we have ever eaten at and the friendliest. And we have eaten at a lot of them all over the country and...

This filthy restaurant gave me food poisoning.

Placed a mobile order yesterday 4/11/2024, right around noon. Within about 4 hours my stomach was cramping. By 5:30pm I was violently vomiting, and this continued until about 9:30pm. The severe cramps continued through the night until about 2am. This illness perfectly fits the pattern of food borne illnesses from the rapid onset and duration to the limited symptoms.

100% they gave me food poisoning. I encourage you to report any similar issues to the Greene County Public Health Board. I can't link but a search for "report food poisoning green county, ohio" will take you right to it. Chipotle was the only meal I had that day, and none of my family was sick from any of the meals we had together the previous day.

Now onto the other issues, The place is disgustingly dirty. I understand it was lunch rush, but there's no excuse for filthy tables, over flowing trash cans, and sticky floors. Pretty piss poor management if you ask me, and if they don't care what the front of the house looks like, it's pretty easy to understand why I ended up with food poisoning from the back of the house. If they can't clean tables, I have zero faith they practice proper food safety.

Final issue which really pale sin comparison, but the card reader was down so I had to place a mobile order which was of course late. Mostly because they just pile them up in the back and bring out 30 orders at once. Annoying, but what can you really expect. I know this because there were other people there and the time due is clearly printed on the receipts. I saw everything from 12:00 to 12:20. Mine was due at 12:10 and it was 12:20. I placed it at 11:50. There was no line inside.

I love chipotle, I really do. I eat there an average of at least one time per week. I have two in close proximity and unfortunately this one is the closest. I’ve tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. They frequently are out of ingredients and I’ve rolled with it. No chicken, fine I’ll get pork or beef. Out of one kind of beans, I’ll go with the other. But today there is no excuse, it’s just really bad management! Today there were out of all rice, both brown and white for lunch. I asked how long until they get rice back in and the employee said a day or two. This is NOT a supply chain issue, this is just plain lazy and poor managers. It’s not the employees fault and I feel bad for them as this is probably the nail in the coffin. Chipotles base of everything they do is rice. It’s the cheapest ingredient they have and usually makes up 70% of nearly every dish they sell. I watched as dozens of hungry patrons turned around and left. It’s like a pizza place running out of cheese. You’re not going to sell much without your main ingredient. Thankfully there is another location just 1.5 miles further, but it’s a shame. This place used to be good. I hope they fire the managers quickly and hire competent people before this location closes permanently.
