Super Subby's — Restaurant in Beavercreek

I don’t know what’s happened to Subby’s, but something has to have happened for it to have become the dirty place it is now. We were in for sandwiches on Sunday, September 7, and there wasn’t one table in the entire restaurant that had been wiped off. Crumbs everywhere. When we walked in, there were three boys standing around in the kitchen not doing anything. Against my better judgment we ate there, and in the 30 minutes or so we were there, none of them bothered to clean any tables. To be fair, there were busy spurts when people came in and the employees had to take orders and make sandwiches, but there was also plenty of downtime to tidy up. It’s the status quo at Subby’s these days, I’m afraid—the carpet looked like it’s not been cleaned in many years, and even the glass entrance door was filthy with smudges and smears and obviously hadn’t been Windexed in quite some time. No one—not even managers—seems to be concerned about the image this all projects, which is a big change from the sticklers for cleanliness that used to operate the Subby’s chain. On top of all this, the grill is apparently never cleaned either, because my sandwich’s bottom piece of bread was covered with black residue from the grill that I had to scrape off. It’s a shame, because Subby’s has some of the best sandwiches, but we’re not going to continue to support a place that is obviously so lax about...

I went in for dinner and they gave me the wrong order. I ordered an italian sub, and when I got home I realised I was served some sort of chicken/tuna salad sandwich. I called the next day from work when I was close to the store and had more time to handle the situation, the manager explained to me they needed the old sandwich from the night before to remake my order. That is the craziest thing I've ever heard of, for a manager to make such an obscene gesture. Absolutely no customer retention skills were demonstrated in my experience. If you want a good sub served right the first time, there are many options around this area including submarine house, jimmy John's, subway, milanos, and jersey Mike's to name a few. Hope the community stands proud with a fellow community member in not supporting this location moving forward....

Ask for meat, cheese & banana oeooer in sandwich ti be hot... barely warm. French fries were over done too the point we couldn't eat them (tried, managed about 1/2 the order). Ask for chili EXTRA hit, was barely lukewarm & cldnt stomach eating that. Ask them to heat it up (NOT in syltyrofoam cup) was told they didn't have anyway of heating it up. Ended up getting a refund. Kid was nice enough BUT when you specifically ask for your food to be HOT that's how you should get it OR told UO FRONT that they can't. Was told they had no way of heating chili up other than thr chili "warmer". I don't want my chili warm when I ask for it HOT. We want come back, have had this problem before but they have always been able to fix it correctly. Why kind...
