If I could give it a 0, I would. My recent visit to Red Curry was unfortunately marred by several issues. Firstly, the server had a really bad attitude displaying a lack of courtesy and professionalism throughout our time there. When I told him that I wanted my dish with no basil, he proceeded to tell me that was not possible with attitude when I have ordered it before. This significantly impacted the overall dining experience to begin with. The absence of ventilation led to a persistently smokey atmosphere, making the dining environment uncomfortable. The pad Thai was served burnt, while the drunken noodles were 10/10 spice level and when I told him about my dish he just called the chef over and he just displayed attitude and she replaced it for me but just seemed to have just added more vegetables to make it “less” spicy. I started eating and I found a hair in it and at this point he didn’t want anything to do with me so guess what? He sent the chef again. Adding to the disappointment, there was no acknowledgment or apology from the server regarding the culinary mishaps and just called the chef to talk with me since he didn’t want to deal with me. A sincere apology could have gone a long way in mitigating the negative experience. Honestly, find somewhere else to go. Don’t bother coming here.

Absolutely amazing food and staff. Best curry I've had in the Portland metro area to date. I ordered the specialty, Thai pumpkin red curry, with mixed seafood, mild spice. Sweet and spicy in a perfect 50/50 balance. Melt in your mouth pumpkin with large tender pieces of squid, whole shrimp, and scallops. Absolutely amazing. Paired it with a Thai iced tea and some Tom Yum soup. The soup was perfectly spicy and sour, large chunks of mushroom and chicken. My partner ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken. Delicious straight off the grill taste, amazing sauce and tender veggies. Overall my experience couldn't have been better. 5 stars is not enough to give this place! Must try if your in the Beaverton area.

This is one of the most unique Thai restaurant I have ever been to. It is run by this amazing lady - true to her word - I know less English but my food is great. I would second that. She is very polite and the food tastes fantastic. There wasn't a big crowd when I was there but the service time isn't long. They have bathrooms - Mens and womens. Love the food - especially the pad Thai and the mango dish. The Papaya salad was amazing as well. This place is quiet and one can spend some time with a group or a significant other. Love to recommend this place.

I can't say enough great things about the food and the customer service we've received at Red Curry. Their chicken pad Thai is the best in the area especially when you consider the price. And they are so considerate of the customer- I had to post this review to tell others about our recent experience.

My husband called in an order and asked for "spring rolls" and when I picked it up, I noticed that we had "egg rolls". I thought , I should just say something (even though I never do, my husband is kind of a big baby) and this was an honest mistake- the young man at the counter explained what spring rolls were and that these were them, but I gently insisted that there was a misunderstanding and could I add the "fresh veggies rolls" (what I usually call spring rolls) to the order, intending to pay for it of course.

He insisted they be no charge and I only went to pick up food with the cash i needed, so I couldn't even tip him extra for taking great care of us! And here's the kicker- I get home and my husband says, "no, he got it right. I wanted the deep fried spring rolls (what I always calls egg rolls). Fortunately, it all worked out because the young man was kind enough to let me take the egg rolls with me...but he was right, he knew he was right and he still threw in the spring rolls to make us happy.

Now that you've thought more about spring and egg rolls than any human ever should, just know these guys are good people and hopefully they'll become one of your...

First, the food was some of the freshest most delicious Thai food I’ve ever had.

But secondly, it was also the tiniest portion of cashew chicken I’ve ever received! I was literally surprised when it was set in front of me. I would have thought he’d mistakenly served me a child’s order, but I was the only diner at the time. Disappointing:( ( I left still hungry)

Thirdly, the gentleman at the counter who greeted me was pleasant, but two things stood out. He had a tv or something playing behind the front counter that was a huge turn off for a nice looking place. Tacky. He should have shut it off when a diner came in. He also had an odd reaction to my order : cashew chicken with sticky rice. His response was a facial expression that said, “why would you order that? You must not know what sticky rice is.” And he said, “ oh, you don’t want that. Sticky rice is well, sticky and you eat it with your fingers. You want the jasmine rice, I’m sure.” No, sir, I was sure I wanted the sticky rice, but you made me feel like I would be making a faux pas if I insisted. Not wanting to be argumentative I told him that would be fine.

One other minor thing was that the plates were stuck to the table. Like the top varnish was tacky. It was kind of off putting, but not a huge thing.

I do want to repeat that despite my awkward and uncomfortable dining experience, the food was a10. Sadly, I don’t think I’d come back knowing I’d need to order more...

The food quality is acceptable for the price. However, as some other reviewer said, customer service could use serious improvement. The staffs look like they don't want to be there. During lunch hour, they are very slow prior getting orders. Some customers who come after us actually get to order first. This amount of wait time is horrible for lunch time, especially for those who get paid by hours. We don't have luxury to take a long lunch hour. We actually lose money just for waiting to pay and could get in trouble if we don't clock in on time. This is not acceptable.

Another thing that is a huge deal breaker for me is that they are not willing to do separate checks for every customer (only limit to 3 transaction???) even when some people just want to pay by cash. Why would it be any different for having a table of 12 or 3 tables of 4 or 12 tables of 1 people talking across tables???? This doesn't make any sense to me.

There are several other Thai and Asian restaurants nearby that are much friendlier and have better food quality for similar prices. Oh.. and they do separate checks as many as needed. This is the first and only place that I was told they can only do split up to 3 ways around here.

Maybe they will do better during dinner time? As much as I want to support local business with my colleagues. I'm not willing to sacrifice my work time just to wait to pay for food during lunch...
