PRETTY TASTY PERUVIAN FOOD
Iâve only tried this spot once for takeaway, but absolutely love it. Maybe even more than the two spots in neighboring suburbsâŠ
Their sauces are phenomenal. I fancied the green and light colored salsas, but really loved the yellow sauce with the yucca.
The chicken dinner is an exceptional value at $26 and you can pick 2 of 4 side items: beans, rice, salad, fries.
They should re-think the yucca appetizer pricing. 4 small pieces at $15 is a bonafide RIP-OFF it was tasty and as mentioned the yellow sauce is rad, but itâs way over priced.
I look forward to dining âinâ there with my family and trying more dishes soon.
UPDATE Dine in was pretty good. I didnât take enough photos of the food. Service is spotty and less than friendly. We ordered the yucca appetizer and they didnât serve it with the sauce or egg. Server threw some attitude when I asked (nicely) for the sauce that was missing.
Hub prefers the other two nearby Peruvian spots to here. He says their yellow sauce lacks proper seasoning and portions are small for...
Read moreWhat a wonderful place to happen upon for an impromptu meal out! Weâve been missing Peruvian food, and the menu had a number of delicious staples that we had enjoyed in Lima. We were too late to try the daily special (one available on Saturday and another on Sunday), but the Tallarin Verde con Bistek Apanado was simple, hearty, and tasty, and the Criollo Fish arrived with additional mariscos and not one, but two homemade traditional Peruvian salsas. Again, we were too late to enjoy some of the postres, but the Leche Asada was reminiscent of a rice pudding or traditional flan (hard to describe, but delicious). The delightful Chicha Morada really hit the spot, and the Inka Cola was just as vibrant as we remembered. Looking forward to returning to sample more! Maybe one day theyâll be able to offer Pisco Sours, but truly, they werenât missed too terribly much amidst all the other offerings. Theyâve applied for a liquor license, but it hasnât come through yet. But then again, theyâve only been...
Read moreYou might miss it in this little strip mall, but itâs worth looking for! This is a new business and a new place to eat in Tigard! Support more dining options in Tigard!! This is a Peruvian place, so they have a really nice big seafood section on the menu! We had fish chicharron for an appetizer. Little fried bite-sized white fish pieces that were pretty tasty. They brought tarter square, but now I will know to ask for the two sauces they brought for my husbandâs steak! You will likely need to ask for the sauces. My husband got the Bistek Encebollado and it really is a fried steak and white rice. He said it was good but he wants to try something else next time. I got Shrimp Soltado and it was sooo good! The folks there were very nice and provided attentive service! I recommend...
