I saw this on IG boasting about their “alternative” options such as non-dairy and sugar-free sweeteners. Awesome! So I went in, ordered an iced latte, and asked if the almond milk was sweetened and the employee said yes. While I appreciated her knowledge and honesty I said “well that sucks” (that’s a big reason why a lot of people opt for almond milk over other alternative options) and asked if they had full cream and she replied “no only milk or half and half”. So unfortunately, I went with milk. Then I asked what they had for sugar free sweeteners (Meaning stevia, erythritol, allulose, etc) but she gave me sugar-free syrup options. Whatever, I’m already going against my usual grain here. So I opted for a sugar free caramel syrup. After I took my first sip I could 100% tell they used a full sugar syrup. It was so friggin sweet I didn’t even want to finish it. It didn’t even taste like coffee anymore.
For a nice-looking local coffee shop y’all really gotta be more conscious of current consumer tastes when it comes to alternate and healthier options. There are large chains with more a lot more options than this place (Minuti, Dutch Bros, etc). Please consider revising the options on your menu.
The employees were friendly and the atmosphere was nice so I gave it a 3. If you don’t care about having a healthier coffee than this place is...
Read moreI was hopeful when I found this coffee shop since I would like to move away from Starbucks. The atmosphere is nice, menu is on the smaller side, and the cashier was friendly. Price wise, I like the fact they do not charge for alternative milk. This is a big plus for me, since I am severely lactose intolerance and I always feel the pinch whenever I get charge for alternative milk for a condition I cannot control.
However, personally for me, the negative is going to outweigh the positon. I ordered a large ice latte with oatmilk and one medium regular latte (hot) with whole milk. It took 20 minutes for me to get the two order because they kept messing up the drink. I am not sure why the confusion happen as the order is pretty simple and it's right there on the ticket where it clearly said the order. When I complained, I felt very brushed off and told it wasn't a "big deal". As stated I have severe allergy to milk so making my drink with whole milk is not going to end well for me and can land me in the hospital so unfortunately I do find it a big deal (sorry to sound like a karen).
The time I spent trying to get my order right and having to wait made the drink I ordered less than desirable. In hindsight I probably should have requested my money back and went down the road...
Read moreI went in and out pretty quickly. There was no line as this place is still new. A great place to do work and meet with people! A different variety of seating is available. There is a food menu and pastries but I didn’t order any.
Parking: The parking lot is small— not sure if there’s more any where else. It may be a slight issue if it’s a busy day. I went on Tuesday around 11am and the lot was pretty full.
Coffee: They have decaf espresso if you’re looking for that. For the latte, they offer it in 3 sizes. I got a small hot latte served in an 8oz cup. If you need something smaller than 8oz, they also serve cortados and flat whites too. Which I assume are smaller than 8oz…. I’m not sure.
Milk alternatives: No extra charge for alternative milk!! They used Oatly when I requested for oat milk.
FYI: This is a coffee chain, so coffee quality isn’t going to be as good as your specialty coffee shops, but it’s definitely a great place for working,...
