Wendy's — Restaurant in Belleview

I am changing my rating. This place served me the first decent Wendy's burger I have had in maybe 15 years. I think it has a new manager.

When Wendy's was new, the slogan was "hot 'n' juicy." Wendy's burgers were better than Five Guys. They were served hot from the griddle, dripping with grease. They were magnificent. Then things went to hell. They started serving burgers that were cold and dry. This is why Wendy's restaurants are generally garbage today. They forgot the whole reason Wendy's succeeded 45 years ago.

Sometimes you can get a decent burger from Wendy's if you insist they cook it fresh, so the other day I went in and rolled the dice. Some lady was there pumping up the employees. She was full of enthusiasm. They were talking about things like corporate training instead of looking half-asleep.

The kid at the register was great. I asked for a fresh burger, and that's what I got. It was 1980 all over again.

They must have finally cleaned the soda machine, because my Dr. Pepper didn't have the funky taste it used to have.

They should make this lady the CEO of Wendy's. Bring back hot 'n' juicy all over the world. I hope she keeps her standards up.

Pretty sure they are frying meat in advance and putting it in buns later, when customers place their orders. I don't care how understaffed you are; ideas like this will just kill the restaurant's business.

I never had a lukewarm, dry Wendy's burger until today. The slogan used to be "hot 'n' juicy." Not this Wendy's. Cool and dry.

The place is cleaner than it used to be, and the staff looks new. They seem to be trying really hard. If you want business to improve, just serve good food. This is how Wendy's succeeded in the first place. No one thought you could charge $3.00 for a burger back then, but because the quality was so much better than McDonald's, people lined up at the drive-through.

Just went through with my kids. Told her I wanted the cheeseburger kids meals without ketchup, she responded by saying they come with ketchup so I repeated that I wanted it to have no ketchup. Gave her the rest of my order and stated clearly that I wanted a minute maid lemonade and not a premium lemonade. When I get there she swipes my card with little to no communication. Then someone comes to the window behind her and asked if I wanted ketchup on the kids meals or not when I stated it twice that I didn't. I asked for a receipt and she just points at the next window and closes hers. Then they handed me a premium lemonade at the next window, which I know is an upcharge, so I correct it and the mod is like is there something else I can get you? I'm like yeah, the difference for the drink she charged me for and she was annoyed and rolling her eyes while saying, it's only like a 50 cent difference. Like maybe y'all should listen and take people's orders right to begin with and they wouldn't be on your line for a long time? Just a suggestion. And then never even gave me a receipt for the...

Wendy's operations are outdated and cause inaccurate orders such as the one received. I asked for no ice in my drink, once discovered the drink had ice, I handed it back and asked for a new drink. The worker proceeded to dump the drink into the another cup instead of giving me a new pour as requested. The worker instructed another worker to fill the cup up with the machine un the dining area. As they were there, I explained why, but was not heard. The worker went and filled up the cup. When she came to the window, I repeated my request then explained the situation and was quick to act without delay to get a new fill in a different cup. We had to wait longer than that to have the order completed. When they handed me the 2nd burger, upon inspection, also didn't come as it was specifically requested, with no tomato, no lettuce, no mayo and instead came with all of it.
