Rachel’s SideBar in Belleville is everything I want in a night out: cozy speakeasy energy, a cocktail menu written like a legal brief (objection: overruled), and lounge seating that makes you feel like you’ve got main character status.

I ordered a killer cocktail, sunk into a velvet seat, and then casually hit the Escape to Planet Moolah slot machine… and won enough to cover my tab. Drinks paid for by a cartoon cow spaceship? I’ll take it.
