China Sea Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Bellevue

I'm not sure what everyone else got, but our food was awful! We ordered $38 worth of food-3 crab rangoons, 2 Dragon and Phoenix, one sweet and sour chicken and two shrimp eggrolls. Let me just say, the only thing that was semi-edible was the rice. The crab rangoons were so tough that you could only eat the center. The outside edges....hah! It would have taken a steak knife to cut through the hard rubber on the outer edge. The Dragon & Pheonix-The general Tso's tasted like it was covered in ketchup/bbq and the shrimp were rubber. Basically anything that was fried here was like cold rubber. We had to use a knife to cut up TEMPORA FRIED SHRIMP. Anyone else see anything wrong with that?? Even the broccoli that comes with it gave up the good fight. It looked like limp green noodles and literally disintegrated in your mouth. Sweet and Sour chicken-Rubber. Normally, we're pretty easy going. I can count the number of times I've complained about food on one hand and still have fingers left over, but this...this was disgusting. After calling and explaining what was wrong, we were told it was freshly cooked and they couldn't imagine how it ended up like that...After my husband described in detail what the food looked and tasted like, they offered $10 dollars toward our NEXT PURCHASE. Sorry, but there won't be a next time. The food sucked because it tasted like you cooked it the day before and reheated it in the microwave and the remedy was to offer less than the price of one meal? The only thing worse than eating this food would have been to get a case of food poisoning. And it's still early so god only knows...that could be next....

I would highly not recommend this place. A group of my friends and I ordered takeout from here yesterday. Although it was a good price definitely not a good experience. My one friend (who is 4 months pregnant) had ordered a seafood delight. After eating the food it did not settle well with her. Today I had to take her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with food poisoning. She couldn’t hold anything down and was severely dehydrated. The place looks run down and obviously isn’t sanitary considering my friend got food poisoning. The other friend I had gone with even called the restaurant today to let them know about the food poisoning and was given terrible service. No manager to speak with and was just given an i don’t know for an answer. Overall we will never be dining here ever again. And would love to speak with an actual manager regarding this situation. Me and my boyfriend have ordered here previously several times with no issues. Tonight however I found two black bugs in my rice. My boyfriend called and asked to speak to a manager to explain what I found and they became extremely defensive and rude. We were told to bring back all of the food, which we did. Upon bringing everything back we were told that they were "our bugs" and they would not give us a refund. My boyfriend threatened to call the police because it was obvious they knew the bugs had come from their restaurant as one of the employees said "those aren't the kind of bugs we have" eluding to the fact that they do have bugs there. Once we called their bluff they gave us a refund. Horrible customer service and apparently awful health standards. I will be reporting them to the BBB. I posted pictures in the...
