This shop was very cute and the guy working was super friendly. I ordered a regular glazed donut. The donut was $4, which is about twice the price of its worth. There’s no special ingredients that require this donut to be $4, it’s just that the owner knows that gullible vegans will pay it. So instead of trying to support the veg cause by offering affordable options this shop would rather overcharge and keep veg options only viable for their snooty affluent clientele who prefer to overpay for things because they think it gives them status. The donut itself was possibly the most flavlorless donut I’ve ever tasted, it was very dry and lacking any real flavor. The glaze was applied so lightly that you could barely taste it. Maybe by the standards of a vegan donut this could be considered good but for normal donut standards it tasted like a cardboard circle.why couldn’t you at least just put more glaze on it? The glaze is vegan, you could really slap it on there and save this terrible donut. All in all the vibe at this place seems way more interested in the presentation of the product than they do with the taste. I’m sure the owners go home and pat themselves on the back every day for these lackluster products and other vegans probably tell them how good the donuts are because they are too spineless to have real opinions on things and they like the feeling that they get by supporting things that they think are virtuous or whatever. If you’re a snooty vegan spending your parents money then you will love this place but I would suggest all normal people who aren’t concerned with how cool they look by supporting a vegan restaurant just spend your $4 on a pack of much much tastier donuts from the...

There was an interesting smell—not a good one. I can’t put my finger on it. Almost like a bad/cheap candy and plastic smell. Service was nice. The goods: I had an OG glazed and my girlfriend had a cherry paczki. She enjoyed the paczki, it wasn’t soggy in the middle like they can get, and very big. I, however, did not enjoy the glazed. Very thin layer of glaze and the doughnut was probably the blandest doughnut I’ve ever had in my life. Maybe it would have been better to have one topped to offset the bland dough, I’m not sure.
My immediate reaction is that I...
Read moreFirs time stopping into the storefront, I've had Valkyries donuts before from their cart. I was very happy with the amount of variety to choose from, there were the expected flavors but I went for the more interesting Burnt Almond and Margarita. Both delivered in taste and texture.
I don't always like fancier donut flavors because in combination with the already sweet donut the toppings can make them overly sweet. The base donut here is probably undersweetened to some people's taste but works great with the flavors...
