AWFUL - Can't give less than 1 star but I would if I could. Ordered online arrived to closed and locked store. Crowd outside with NO employee willing to make eye contact#!! Just pretended customers were not standing knocking at the door. Finally let in a few cusomers (one was my son picking up Mother's Day lunch) that had placed orders online and promptly locked doors again. No willingness to explain what is wrong. About 40 customers outside finally left. This is not acceptable service. Finally a young man opened door again and said the manager told him to lock the doors because they don't have employees so he had to make small amounts of food so he can't open. I suggested they put a note on the door saying they are temporarily closed - he said he could not unless it's from corporate. Most unbelievable, the exit doors were also locked so no one inside could get out the main business doors!! How does this make sense!? (Picture some customers inside and some outside and doors locked betweeen them.) The most offensive part was employees pretending the crowd was not at the door and refusing to make eye contact to explain why they would not let them in while there were some people inside. Eventually, my son was let out with order which (was cold) but could have been made earlier? If you can't serve food, close and refund but don't make it worse by bad quality and bad service. As we drove away, perplexed customers were walking away. It appears this location is without management and left employees to figure out what to do. Read moreWe did not have a good experience at Chipotle this time. When we arrived, there was a sign up that said they only accept orders online. We went through the process of ordering online and the menu and options are not the same. For instance, on the kids meal, there wasn't an option to have beans as a protein - just as a topping, but somehow guacamole counts as a protein. Because beans count as a topping, you can only choose one other taco topping (like rice, cheese, or lettuce).
In addition, it's not possible to request an extra side of something (like cheese or lettuce) because the online ordering options are limited. Also, when you go through the regular line and choose the components of your burrito, you can request "light" cheese or a "little bit" of something, but in the online ordering system, you can't do that.
Our order was supposed to be ready in 7 minutes at 7:00 p.m. but in fact it wasn't ready until 7:12. Finally, when we got our order, one of the two crispy taco shells in our kids meal was broken. I went back in and requested a replacement so my child could make tacos and received "a look" from the employees like I was asking for something unreasonable. It's a taco, it's supposed to be able to hold the toppings.
All in all, not a good experience. If I walk into a Chipotle again and they're requiring online ordering again, I'll turn around and find somewhere...

The manager approached me as I was checking out. I prefer to have some ingredients like beans on the side rather than in the bowl. He said to me that next time he will charge me for that.
I was surprised, and felt scolded. I then asked him, if these were IN the bowl instead of ON the side, would he charge me… he said NO. That seems wrong to me…
I’m not getting anything extra, I’m just getting them on the side rather the in the bowl.
I also prefer to get taco shells to go with my bowl, these use to be free, but a while ago I started getting charged .25-.50 cents for 3 shells… I am ok with that… BUT
This manager now tells me & charges me $.50 PER SHELL!
So now my $9.10 bowl + $.50 for 3 shells ($9.60) PLUS he says he is gonna charge me several dollars extra if I get my bowl ingredients ON THE SIDE rather then IN the bowl.
Meaning my $9.60 order will be closer to $14 even though I didn’t get anything extra for sides, and I am now offended that I would get charged $.50/shell on top of that.
I have been going to Chipotle for 20 years! I have never felt mad or upset about my experience. But now I feel disrespected and quite different about chipotle.
