565 Live - Speakeasy & Stage — Restaurant in Bellevue

I've been coming to comedy night here with my partner for a few seasons. This place is a perfect, Pittsburgh-basement speakeasy for reviving the long-dry Bellevue community. Folks just need to come out for great local entertainment!

Their facebook page seems updated most often, but call to check if you're heading to a specific day. Stand-up comedy is 1st & 3rd Thursdays each month (at the time of this review), which is pretty enjoyable with both regular characters and new faces from all over. Fridays and Saturdays usually have live music; we've attended some open mic stuff that was okay.

The service at the bar and seated near the comedy stage is always great. This establishment downstairs works together with the one upstairs, which houses the kitchen and its own bar.

🚫🌾Ordering for gluten intolerance was reassuring and straightforward; before celiac diagnosis we had really loved their burgers, and the gf version is just as delicious without a bun, and I recommend a baked potato for your side. Elated to report I had no issues...

If you're looking for an unforgettable night out with that someone special, look no further than this place. This place is a hidden gem just on the outskirts of Downtown Pittsburgh. This place offers more than just a meal but an experience. The food itself is exquisite. The ambiance inside is warm and intimate, that makes you feel right at home.

But the real magic happens after dinner on most Saturday evenings. Hidden below the restaurant lies a speakeasy-style lounge that transports you to an evening of laugher and music. The bartender crafts the most amazing drinks, your greeted by the owner and its an opportunity to meet great people.

Enjoy the music of the evening from Jazz, Blues, to Country and modern day music. Sit and enjoy the ambiance or mix and mingle or even share a dance with that someone special. This place is such a wonderful place to go.

Upon our arrival we walked through a Resturant part of 565. We continued to the down stairs to where there was another part of the building called the 565 Live. Tonight was a Halloween party, n live music. Along with a Buffet.. We met Mark who was the manager n a very nice Man. He was very helpful to us being new to the astablishment as well to Pittsburgh... Mark, along with Bar Maids, Anita and Jess where very pleasant servers.. A bit of a Small place, However, as it was A Halloween party, great music and Buffet..Very well mannered patrons.. The Band WQRZ was a great Band with some old songs...
